The Rouge and the Reject

Introduction

His eyes blazed with the one emotion I was praying I wouldn't see, disappointment. His lips curled into a snarl as he spat,

"You have got to be fuckin' kidding me." Tears began to well up in my eyes as I cowered in the corner away from his hateful stare. Mason stormed towards me placing his large hands on either side of me trapping me against the wall. He was furious.

"Out of all the girls in this pack and it's you. The Moon Goddess must have it out for me. I Mason James Huntington, Alpha of the Grey Winds pack reject you Arya Jane O'Leary, scum of the Grey Winds Pack and a disgrace to the O'Leary Family. Fucking say it." He ordered hissing in my ear with every bit of venom he had. My heart shattered into a million pieces as I barely stuttered out those four little words.

"I-I accept y-your re-rejection.." He dropped his hands from the wall with a smug look smeared across his face.

"Now get the fuck out of my sight. Go clean something." With that I ran out of the room tears cascading down my face I stumbled up the steps to the attic locking the door I collapsed on my dirty old mattress and sobbed into my pillow.
