you saved my life

Laura's POV

      it was the 4th of july and i was at the carnival. i was walking around by myself at about 10:00 at night waiting for them to start the firework show. while eating my tiger blood snow cone. my favorite kind. i finished it so i went to go throw it away in the trash can. just then someone grabbed me by the waist. "ahh" i screamed when he put his hand over my mouth. i could hear my own muffled screams. "shut up" he whispered in my ear. it sent shivers down my spine. i nodded as he dragged me along. i shed a tear praying i'd be okay. i clenched my eyes shut and he threw me into the back of a van. he shut the door. i opened my eyes to be greeted by pitch black. i saw him get in the front seat and he began to drive. i cried until he yelled "hush! now!" i jumped and went silent. tears were still flowing. i then realized...... this idiot forgot to tie my hands and check for my phone!  i got my phone out of my back pocket and texted my best friend ross.

  texting convo...........

       l: ross?

       r: sup laur. where are u? i can't find u

       l: ross someone took me. i'm in his van. i'm scared

       r: stay calm. can you see out the window

       l: yeah

       r: what street are you guys on?

       l: ross i can't see that good!

       r: laur i know you don't have your glasses. i i need u 2 try.

       l: it looks like our street. it is. i just passed your house and i saw riker!

       r: perfect. how many houses down from mine?

       l: 4. then you make a right. it's an old empty house.

       r: i'm coming now. don't be scared. i'm gonna get you

after that he pulled up at the house. he looked back at me. he saw my phone and smashed it. he dragged me out. i could still see riker from a distance. i tried calling for him but the man hit me over the head with a brick. and like that i was out.

Ross' POV

     i started running. after 10 minutes i got to my house. "riker" i grabbed his collar shedding tears. "ross we're playing football" rydel whined. "riker did you see that van" i asked. "yeah. and why are you crying" he asked. "laura was in that van! someone took her during the firework show!" i cried. "what? our laura" rocky asked. "what other laura? you stupid idiot" ryland hit him. "where are mom and dad" i begged for an answer. "store" rat answered. i let go of riker. "i know where they are. you guys coming or what" i asked. "we're gonna get our laura" they yelled. i started to run again and they followed. now sometimes i say mom had to many kids. but in this case i'm kinda glad there are 5 of us. we're like an army. and we got rat too. we got to the house and couldn't hear anything. it looked so scary. "i'm not going in there" rydel shook her head. "come on" i grabbed her hand. we all ran to the side of the house. we looked down in the window to the basement. a girl was tied to a chair. well no laura. wait..... ugh. stupid ross that is laura! we snuck around the back and i untied laura. she was passed out. there was blood on her clothes that were torn. her cheek covered with a red hand print. hair in tangles. phone smashed on the floor. bleeding from the top of her hair line. the blood dripped down her hair line and to the sides of her head. i touched her cheek when she jumped. "don't hurt me anymore" she cried waking up. "laur it's me" i whispered to her. "and us" the rest whispered waving. she hugged me tightly and i hugged back. she cried in my chest. i heard a creek from upstairs. "laur listen" i sat her back. "i have a plan. but your gonna have to stay here. don't move" i nodded and she did too. i tied her back up and we all hid except her.  then a man stepped down the stairs. he saw laura. "hey" he smiled. she looked away. this hurts. i can't stand to see her tourmented. "aw what's wrong" he touched her cheek. "stop" she begged. "no thank you" he smirked. he went behind her and started to massage her shoulders. i could see her tense up. "calm down princess" he kissed her neck. "help me" she mouthed. i was about to get up but riker held me back. "what" i looked at him. "not yet" he nodded. she started to shed more tears and i saw him bite her neck. i brushed of riker's hand and jumped up. he didn't see me. i grabbed him and pushed him against a wall. "you! you took her" i yelled. "ross! that wasn't the plan" riker yelled as him and the rest got up. they untied laura as i hit the man. ell called the police and they got him. we all walked out. we walked to my house and cleaned laura up. then we went outside to wait for mom and dad. she shivered so i wrapped my jacket around her and hugged her. my head burried in her shoulder and hers dug deep into my chest. the rest just smiled at us. then fireworks went into the sky scaring her. she jumped. "it's okay. it's just the fireworks" i whispered in her ear. she started to cry. i can understand why. i pulled away and looked into her eyes. "thanks" she wiped her tears. "for what" i asked confused. she stood on her tippie toes and kissed me. i was shocked but of course i kissed back. i mean she's the laura marie marano. i've been in love with her since forever. she almost lost her balance so i held her by her hips. she wrapped her arms around my neck. fireworks shooting behind us.  we could hear the clicking of cameras. since we had the fireworks in the back round i could tell the picture was gonna look cliché. when she pulled away i was blushing and smiling all goofily. she laughed at me and leaned up to my ear. she whispered the words....... "you saved my life." it sounded gentle. she sent chills down my spine. in the good way. we she pulled back i saw a smile on her face as she bit her bottom lip. i laughed a bit blushing harder.

aw! cute and sad one shot. i was honestly bored and i remembered oh man i need to update so..... there u go. i have no announcements. so.......
