Afraid of storms

ROSS' POV

    I was awake in bed, 10:00 at night. Thunder was booming outside and lightning flashed through the windows.

(Guess Percy returned the lightning bolt to Zues, ohhhhh! Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif reference! Slay with Riptide!)

I sighed, turning yet once again, not being able to get comfy for the life of me. I suddenly heard a knock on my door. Not loud... but small and fragile. Weak mostly. "Yeah" I called. My door opened, revealing Laura. My girlfriend. She had stayed the night at our house, and slept in the room with Delly. Don't know why she's here.... not that I'm complaining since all she's wearing is my shirt.

And I mean... ALL she's wearing ;}

"Ross" she asked. Her voice was trembling causing all dirty thoughts to leave my mind. "Yeah Laur?" "C-Can I-" thunder boomed and she squeaked. Then she ran over and laid in my bed, hiding in my chest. I giggled.

Of course a manly giggle...

"Laur are you okay?" She shook her head, whimpering like a puppy when lighting fled the windows.

Laura's POV

     "What's wrong" Ross asked softly. "I'-I'm scared" I cuddled into his warmth. "Of what? Your Laura! Your never scared" he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer. Thunder roared and more lightning flashed. "Storms" I shrank in his side. He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Don't worry, baby. I'm here." And like that, we were sleeping.

*morning*

I woke to the sound of playful arguing above me. It was Rocky, Riker, Rydel, Ratliff, and Ryland. They were talking about how cute me and Ross were, and Riker was being loud. "Riker be quiet! Your loud" Rydel hissed quietly. He was snapping a picture, and didn't realize me awake. "Perfect picture" he exclaimed. "Let me see" Ratliff peaked. Riker yanked the camera the other way.

"I'm sorry did I invite you to my barbecue? Then why you all up in my grill" Riker asked. (Who else would KILL to get footage of Riker saying this?)

I giggled a bit and they all looked down at us. Riker blushed deep red. "No one was... erm, supposed to hear that but family" he scratched the back of his neck. "Oh so she isn't family" Ross asked scaring everybody. I looked up at him. His eyes were closed but he was smirking. I rolled my eyes. "Stop being so cocky Lynch" I retorted. "In your dreams Marano" he laughed. I pushed him and he fell off the bed, onto his but, groaning. We all laughed. I'm so glad to have Ross when there's a storm. He gives me a reason not to be afraid.

Update #1!!! Oh and I have no school today :). Student holiday, Whoot Whoot! And 4 no reason, too! Isn't that awesome? Ha, later. I'm Percy Jackson, see ya later!
