"Sorry Laura, but if you want money, your gonna have to get a job" Dad kissed my forehead. Then walked out the door for work. I groaned and sighed, texting my friend Rydel.

I walked into the house, only to almost be ran over. "Rocky! Give me my glasses" Riker yelled. "Hey Laura" Rocky chimed. I laughed, "Hey Rocky!" "Rocky-" Riker ran straight into the wall. "Ooh" me and Rocky cringed. "When did that get there" he groaned. Rocky laughed and ran upstairs. Ryland ran down and hugged me. "Hi Laur" he exclaimed. I laughed and kissed the 5 year old on the cheek. (In this, Ryland is older than Ross.) "Hi little one." He laughed and ran upstairs. Then Rydel came down, holding Ross. Who, I haven't met yet. He's only eight months old, but I never got the chance to see him. Weird huh? He was adorable! "Aw! Look at the baby" I cooed and took him from Rydel. I looked at him, then Riker. "God(s Percy Jackson!), if you don't look like Riker! Let's just hope you don't need glasses" I whispered the last sentence. He giggled loudly as Riker exclaimed, "I heard that!" He squealed and clapped his hands. I giggled and kissed his cheek. Stormie and Mark came down. "Come on boys! We're leaving" Stormie called. The other two ran down and Rocky gave Riker his glasses. "Thank you" he glared. Ross giggled and made grabby hands at Riker. "Hey buddy" Riker smiled. He kissed Ross on the nose and Ross giggled, kissing his nose back. (Aw, cuteness overload!)

I was sitting on the couch and holding Ross in my lap. He was chewing my hair and making gurgle noises. "Aw! You're so cute." Then I heard his small tummy growl. "Aw, hungry" I asked. He blew spit bubbles and I smiled. "I guess that means yes." I sat him in his car seat and went to the kitchen, grabbing a baby food jar of applesauce. I grabbed a small spoon and went back to the living room. I opened the jar and dipped the spoon in it, feeding it to Ross. He smacked his gums and made an "Mmmm" noise. "Yeah I bet that's very mmm" I laughed. He smiled his toothless smile and I kissed his forehead, then continued to feed him.

Ross yawned and I laughed. "Come on, sleepy boy." I walked him to the crib and laid him in it, covering him in the blanket. Then I began to sing a song.

Twinkle twinkle, little star.

Suddenly the door opened, but I didn't move. I continued to sing to the sleeping baby. "Aw" I heard Riker squeal. I stopped singing and looked back, only to see all of the Lynches staring at me. They smiled. I laughed, "Hey." "Hi" the piped in unison. "Hey Laura" I heard someone yell that was behind Mark. Ratliff? "Why is-" "Dad won't let him near me" Rydel glared. "Hey your still a little girl" Mark argued. Rydel huffed. "It's okay Del" I could practically hear the smile that was on Rat's face. I laughed. "Well, he's sleeping" I nodded. "Thank you" Stormie hugged me. She reached into her purse but I shook my head. "You keep it." She smiled and Rydel did too. I gave them all hugs and kissed Ross on the forehead. Right before I left, I heard him say, "Lauwa." He giggled and kissed my nose and I smiled widely, blushing pink. Cutest baby ever!
