Laura's POV

        "Hey Ross" I smiled. He waved. Sigh. Why doesn't he talk? I just wanna hear his voice. But sadly, he's mute. That's too bad. I mean I can't even hear my boyfriend talk. Yes, boyfriend. "Rossy why don't you talk" I asked. He wrote on a piece of paper. 'I just can't.' "Yeah you can. Just try." He shook his head. "Please! I'll give you kisses" I smiled. He laughed a bit, rolling his eyes. He nodded. "At the park?" He wrote on the paper, "Yes."

"Ross I believe in you. I know you do." He sniffled and a tear slid down his cheek. "It's so hard," he texted me. "I know. But it can also be easy. Just push yourself, a little more." "I'm trying, Laur! It's not that easy" he texted. "Come here," I hugged him. Everyone at the park stared at us weirdly. "Ross I love you." He said nothing. He just closed his eyes.

"I-I love y-you too."

He chocked the words from his mouth. I dropped my mouth opened and pulled back, looking at him. "Ross?" "Y-Yeah?" "Oh my god! Have you been able to talk this whole time?!" "N-N-No. I-I just had to push myself."

Ross' POV

     She hugged me, smiling. I hugged back. "Thanks Laur. I-I love y-you." "I love you too stutter boy" she laughed. I rolled my eyes.

Time skip: 3 months

I was singing along with Riker as I played the guitar.

If this is love, love is easy. It's the easiest thing to do.

Wow, don't you just love McFly? I do. I realized, I have a pretty good voice. We kept singing until I got a phone call. I stopped along with Riker, picking up my phone. "Yellow?" "H-Hi Ross" Venessa sniffled into the phone. "V what's wrong?" "It's Laura." And with that she hang up. Oh my god!

"Laura! Laur, where are you" I ran into her house. "Laura!" All of my siblings followed. Venessa ran in laughing. "Oh god! Guys she's sleeping. She's okay. Don't worry!" My eyes nearly popped from my sockets. "You mean to tell me you scared the crap out of me for nothing!-" "Not not for nothing. We're having a surprise for her and I need you to distract her" she laughed. I glared and ran upstairs, to my girlfriend's room. I walked in and shut the door, locking it. You would think she did it, huh? I crawled into her bed, hugging her. "Laur?" She jumped up and looked at me. "Oh god. It's still kinda hard to get used to your voice" she swallowed hard. I laughed. "Go back to sleep. I just wanted to cuddle." She eyed me. "Your so weird." I laughed. "I love you Laur." "At least you didn't stutter" she teased. I hit her shoulder and she laughed. "I love you too." "You know, I like this a LOT better than being mute" I pecked her lips. She smiled. "I do too..."
