Laura POV

        "Mommy, want ice cweam" my 2 year old son Luca (see not everything is about the name Jammie!) whined. I laughed and held his hand as we walked in the park. "Okay baby, we'll get you ice cream." He giggled and nodded, blonde hair falling over his brown eyes.

I knew he'd look just like his daddy...

Suddenly, Luca and I bumped into a tall blonde man with stubble on his chin. Ross. "Hey! Say sowwy to my mommy Mr" Luca scolded. I froze and looked up at him, gripping my son's hand tighter. Ross looked down at me. "Laura... you... you look beautiful-" "Don't."

"Laura-" "I said don't.-" "Laura... I missed you-" "Can you not?!" (In the words of danisnotonfire: Can you not?! Ugh, I don't need you in my life peasent.)

He sighed. "I'm sorry..." "Well sorry doesn't mend a broken heart. Or help pay for pull ups and things for my son. I had to get two jobs, ( that reminds me of everybody hates chris. Remember his mom always said, "I don't need this, my man got two jobs!) and quit school Ross."

"Laura I ended up doing it too... Your dad called and I-" "What?! Got fired?!" "I resigned." I froze and looked up at him. I knelt down and picked up Luca as he whimpered and held onto me. "Bwad man mommy."

"Yeah baby. Very bad man" I glared at Ross. He gaped at Luca. "He... He looks just like me" he muttered. "Yeah... something that annoyed me at first but I can't blame him for his not smart daddy." "If you were gonna call me stupid then-" Luca gasped, "Bwad word!"

Ross POV

       "Laura can... can I please hold him?" She glanced down at him unsure and back at me. "Fine." She handed him over to me and I held him on my hip. He began sobbing loudly, "Mommy! Mommy!" He reached for her and made grabby hands, making Laura coo and take him back from me. "What's wrong baby boy?" He buried his face in the crook of her neck. "Me no like bwad man" he whispered sniffling. That stung...

"Mommy doesn't like him either to be honest" she glared but then sighed. "But... I guess everyone deserves a second chance. Right Luca?" Luca nodded slightly, wiping under his eyes. "Yeah mommy." She looked up at me.

"I'm willing..." she breathed. "To give us  a try. But only for Luca..." She looked down at the now sleeping boy in her arms. "Only for my Luca."

~1 year later...

"Daddy" Luca squealed as he held onto my leg, giggling. "Hi baby" I smiled and picked him up, placing him on my hip. He smiled as I kissed his cheek. "Mommy pull toof out!" He smiled and showed me how his front tooth was missing. "That's great bud!" "Mommy said the toof faiwy give me money! I get me a bwand new caw" he squealed. I laughed. "Yeah, new car." And then Laura walked in. "Hello my beautiful wife" I smiled. "Hewwo bootiful mommy" Luca smiled.

She giggled and kissed us both on the cheek. "My two blonde, handsome devils." I pecked her lips as she blushed. "I love you both so much" I muttered. "I love you too" she pecked my lips back. "Wove ou daddy" Luca whispered, nuzzling his nose into the crook of my neck. Soon he was asleep, making Laura smirk up at me.

"Wanna come tutor me now?"
