Cuddles make everything better

Ross'  POV

        Laura laid her head in my lap as I stroked her hair. "Are you feeling any better" I whispered in her ear. She just got done throwing up. She shook her head. "No" she whispered. "Aw. My pour baby." I pulled her up into my lap. "Do you want some soup" I rubbed her tummy. She nodded. I smiled and kissed her cheek. I got up and went into the the kitchen.

Laura's POV

      I laid there for about 5 minutes before Ross came back. I sat up, wincing as I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. "Slow and steady wins the race. No need to rush" he smiled. I laughed a bit. He took the tray and put it on my lap.

"Rossy" I whined, laying my head on his shoulder. "Yes" he whined back. "Cuddle me" I pouted. He laughed. "We don't ask now" he smiled. "Nope. It's a command. Now we shall cuddle" I nodded. He laughed. "Okay." He pulled me into his lap and got his big blanket, pulling it over the both us. "I think cuddles make everything better" he whispered pulling me closer. I smiled. "They do."

Ross' POV

      "They do" she replied. Then it was silent. Not an awkward silence. But... a comfy one. Ya know? I'm sure ya do. It stayed that way for about an hour. Laura was starting to drift to sleep. "I don't wanna be famous..." I sang quietly. She closed her eyes. I kept going. "If I can't be with you, with you" I whispered kissing her hair. She snuggled closer to me. Her breathing pattern changed and I could tell she was sleeping. I slowly laid her in the bed. I went to the bathroom and got the thermometer. When I got back to her, I easily slipped it under her tounge. She always sleeps with her mouth open. I rubbed her back as she groaned, starting to awake. But she didn't, thankfully. It beeped and I took it out. 92.8...

I guess cuddles do make everything better after all.
