Bloody Clues

(Sorry guys for the long wait! As you all know Wattpad like to play games with me so I was having troubles!!! Enjoy the chapter!!!)

"What do you mean he just got in the car!?" Sonic said with fear in his voice. "Calm down, Sonic I'm sure he is just fine." The pink annoyance said trying to support comfort but failing ultimately at doing so. "I'm afraid not, Shadow and Rouge are both really bad individuals and last I knew Shadow had gone to Jail for theft..." The purple cat said sitting at her table with a cup of coffee steaming. The clouds of hot white swishing through the air. "We need to find him...I have a bad feeling about this." Sonic knew his yellow fox lover...wait... lover? Sonic still couldn't decide whether he truly loved Tails or if this was just a strange occurrence... He loved Tails but to the extent of what? "I can give you the address of where they live but it's not like you can just barge right in and say, 'where is Tails?' " Sonic looked at Blaze with a frown. "Watch me." Suddenly the doorbell rang. Blaze got up and walked to the door to see who it was. "Sonic Its too dangerous to go by yourself, at least get knuckles or-." "And the whole reason he is in the mess is because of you so shut the hell up and let me handle this." Amy had a look of anger and shock spread across her face. Sure Sonic might have been a little snappy but he had just lost his best friend...and possible lover. Blaze walked back with someone following behind. Sonic looked up to meet an unexpected guest...Cream. "Cream said she has something to tell you, she has been meaning to tell you for a while but never got the chance....well go ahead cream, spit it out." Cream looked back at Amy and Sonic and sighed before starting her conversation. "Tails has been hiding something...something big." She twirled her thumbs around each other nervously. "I was gonna ask him myself personally when I got the chance but this just happened so I didn't have much time." The little rabbit took a bag from underneath the table and set it on the wood carved furniture. "What's this?" Sonic asked questioningly noticing the bag had a reddish tint to it. "That's what I want to know..." Cream said opening the bag. "I thought he had been acting weird for a long time now, he hadn't been acting himself... and when he brought this out to your trashcan, Sonic, I thought he had just taken the trash out the day before. So there was no way you two created that much trash that quick..." Cream said seriously. Sonic nodded waiting to see what was in the bag.  "Well, when I asked him what it was he pretty much just blew me off. So I thought I'd investigate, after looking at it I decided it was nothing but after about ten minutes I came back and took it..." Cream opened the bag the rest of the way revealing handfuls of tissue paper cotton swabs, and other objects. "Is that blood!?" Amy said observing how most of the tissue papers and swabs were deep red. "I'm afraid so, and When I saw this I figured I would see whose blood it was, just in case. So I took it to the library and used their microscope and blood tester and it came back positive as fox DNA." She finished staring deeply into Sonics eyes looking for an explanation. Sonic eyes got huge as he looked at the amount of red the bag contained. He felt a mixture of worry, stress, and sickness wash over him. "Sonic, you aren't home when he did this so it obviously wasn't you because the timing isn't right...someone came to your house I think and hurt Tails...and Tails didn't say anything." "That's crazy! Tails would have told me or Sonic if someone was hurting him!" Amy said defensively. "Or at least me anyways." Blaze shook her head. "Amy if this is Tails blood then what other explanation do you have?" Amy kept silent. Sonic felt rage building within himself.  "Who did it?" He said between gritted teeth. Sonic knew Tails...Tails would have told him if something was going on...unless... "I don't know, but based on the amount of blood here the weapon had to have been sharp and cut deep. " Cream folder her hands and continued to think. "The only reason why Tails wouldn't have told us. Is if he was protecting us." Sonic finally realized, speaking his thoughts aloud. "But from what? Or who?" Amy said baffled that Tails was actually in serious danger now. "My guess would be this has to be related to this terrible turn of events lately... He meets Shadow and Rouge right after leaving your house...that's seems a little suspicious if you ask me." Cream said inferring that there was a possible connection. "Well there is only one way to find out...we need to find Tails." Sonic said rising out of his chair by the table. "Thank you for the coffee Blaze, I will have Amy contact you guys ASAP about Tails when I get him. Till then, thanks for the information and support." Sonic got up and walked out. Leaving Amy behind to gossip and do whatever girls do when guys aren't around.  Sonic got in the car and started it up the idling engine sputtering exhaust out. Someone ran out of the house with a piece of paper, Cream. "Blaze wanted me to give you the address...here." She said handing a thin slip of paper to Sonic. "Thanks." "No prob! Make sure to bring our Tails home." Cream said smiling. Sonic watched as the little rabbit returned to the house. He sat there in silence for a moment looking at the address. Someone was hurting Tails...and that someone could be Shadow...
