Another month I will know I can have a family of my own. A little piece of me. I decided to take everyone out for dinner included Jordan as he is going out with Ava now. They have been for five weeks. He is going to ruin it. Why can't he stay away on the road for longer? Oh great, he's looking at me. Smile Jon just smile like nothing is going on. That's it smile. Better no not really. They are laughing together having fun. I feel something on my shoulder and there is Derek trying to get my attention.
"Are you alright Jon? You have been very quiet tonight"
"Yea just thinking".
Then they start giggling again. Just shut up will ya.
"Remember when we were like that" whispered Derek. I smile at him for a moment then went back to glaring at my brother. When is Joe getting here? Oh yeah later as he didn't want to be here with the couples. Neither do I, now. I drink some more wine to help me out. I am not jealous or am I. Maybe I am because I have settled down with my Derek while he is being a just a rockstar out with a different girl each night, he is such a player or as they say a manwhore. Oh great, he's smiling at me. Smile Jon. Don't let him know what you're thinking. Jordan goes back to talking Ava again. She is sat in front of him while I sit next to her. I can feel them moving under the table. Knock it off. Drink up, Jon. Derek notices I am looking uncomfortable.
"You want to go outside for a minute while waiting for our food"
"Please". I leapt out of my chair and almost ran out of the restaurant. We left the two lovebirds alone at our table. I needed the fresh air as I couldn't take it anymore.
" Are you sure you alright?"
"No, I can't get over the fact that my brother is going to ruin everything like he always does. He has to have everything I want. It's been like that since we were kids. Everyone thought we were the twins by the way we were like rather than him and Joe".
" Maybe he might not. Have you ever thought of that? He's in love. Let's let him be happy. I have never seen him so happy with a girl. Its always a different girl different day. Here he has been with one for 5 weeks".
"That's why I am with you. You make me see some sense". I kiss him on the lips before we go back in to eat our meal.
