Today I flew to LA for my appointment as its been two months of waiting. I heard about the appointment on the same day I went out on a date with Jordan the rockstar. Now we have been going out as a couple for two months. We are still in the 'we can't keep our hands off each other' stage. That's what its like to be so in love. I am so lucky to have him. I hope he will still be this understanding while I carry his brothers baby for 9 months as a surrogate. Then I remember our night a month ago when he came back from his time on the road. It was one hot steamy night as we were apart for a month.

I am now in the waiting room, waiting for my appointment. It wasn't going to happen today all it was a medical for me to see if I was healthy. I hope I am to their standard even though I have been feeling fluey. I was feeling so bad I made Jordan stay away so he wouldn't catch it. He had been on the phone every night this past week complaining he can't see me. I smile at that reminder. Speak of the devil as my phone dings a message.

JK: Good luck Ava

Ding goes my phone again. It's Jon this time.

JRK: Hope it all goes well today. Let me know what happens.

Time for my appointment. A nurse came to call for my physical. She went through all medical history, weight then took some blood and wanted me to get a urine sample. I sat in the waiting room drinking some water so I could go. I had to wait for a later appointment for the results. I was again feeling unwell. I rushed back to the toilet and threw up. I just got the flu or is it something else. No, I am ill. I called Jon to let him know the news so far, so far so good. I got a couple of hours to kill so I go to the coffee shop around the block for a while.

A: It has been good so far. Waiting on some tests. Should be home tomorrow. Wanna meet up.

JK: Yep. Yours or mine.

A: Yours again

JK: Ready for another steamy night 🌡🌡

JK: ❤💥

I smile at his messages.

A: Can't wait

I arrived back at the clinic after receiving a message. I walk into the same room I was in earlier. There sat the nurse at her desk.

"Ava, please sit down. Right we got the results back early as they get done here at the clinic. How have you been feeling recently?" She questions.

"I have been feeling unwell for a couple of days. I think it's the flu".

"Nope, it's not the flu. The clinic will not be able to help you and Mr Knight".

" I am not seriously ill am I?".

"No Ava. You're four weeks pregnant".

"I'm what?".

" You know. Knocked up. Preggers. Bun in the oven. Up the duff".

"I know. I can't believe it".

" Other than that you are healthy so in a year you guys still want to go through with it. The clinic would be happy to help again".

"Thank you".

I get up and leave the room. Once I am outside I suddenly remember that night. I covered my face with my hands when I remembered we didn't use any protection that night. What I am going to tell Jon, let alone the dad. This is such a huge mess.
