Athena:
I can't believe what happened last night. I hate Poseidon. Right? I don't know right now. All I know is that I need to get out of here. What happened to me? One day I'm saying how much I loathe Poseidon, and the next day... I just don't understand what's going on.
Hera:
Athena came to me. She seemed so confused, which is strange for Athena. Athena's never confused. Now I get to give her news that will confuse her even more.
"Athena," I began. "You're probably not going to believe this, but you're pregnant."
"You're wrong. You've got to be wrong. All my children have been brain children. I shouldn't be able to have children the normal way."
"You and I both know that's not true. You are just as able to get pregnant as any one of us."
"Yes, but I don't do things like that."
"I know."
"I can't tell him. I can't."
"Why not, Athena?"
"It's Poseidon."
"Oh, gods! You and Poseidon!?"
"I know. No one can know, Hera. Please don't say anything."
"I won't, but how will you hide it."
"I will leave Olympus for a while. After the child is born. Well I could make it mortal."
"If that's what you want."
