What the-

Urgh what is that taste in my mouth.

Urgh disgusting.

Wait what, where am I?

My eye snapped open quickly and white light shot through it. Pain flooded up through my nose, spilled out from my eyebrows to cover the rest of my forehead and I fell back into the darkness.

-2 HOURS LATER-

"Harry? Harry?! Harry please wake up please God! Oh my God Harry please!"

"Excuse me madam contact with the patient isn't allowed at this moment of time"

"Harry please! Harry!"

"Madam you're going to have to-"

"HARRY!"

"Can I get security in here please!"

"No Harry don't let them take me! Harry no please wake up! Harry! Hey get off me! I-I can walk by myself! Harry I'll be back, I promise!" Alcohol faintly stung my nose before the darkness swallowed me whole.

-8 HOURS LATER-

"I need a report on the patient's current pain and you need to complete the general memory and knowledge survey on him just to make sure that any brain surgery isn't needed. Obviously scans will have to be done but it's just a quick judgement before it's too late. I suspect he should be coming back around soon if his health is as stable as we've presumed and if his mother makes another 'appearance', ring security straight away, no warnings this time."

"I will don't worry."

"I'll be back around after my rounds on ward 132, so in about an hour maybe?"

"Ok, thank you doctor."

Why am I alive?

I'm supposed to be dead.

You couldn't do me one favor could you? You couldn't just keep my eyes closed.

Obviously I'm in a hospital. Just great. At least I can't feel anything. I'd give it a few hours when my mum turns up if she manages to pluck away from the bottle for an impressive amount of time, a couple of minutes maybe? Or when Louis turns up pretending to be innocent or even worse- in love.

But the worse thing that could happen is if my dad turned up. But let's face it, I doubt he'd turn up to my funeral. But I guess we'll never know now. Thanks again for that one.

Right, let's see what I've gotten myself into this time.

My eye cracked open from the seal of sleep and the expected- but still surprising- bright lights blurred my vision and then zoomed everything into focus. My other eye soon followed into vision and they rolled lazily around the room. Very, very surprisingly I found myself in my own room and not a ward. That's pretty good. I remember all of the crying babies last time and the sleepless and painful nights. My eyes fell onto the nurse sitting next to my bed.

Darked skin, brown eyes, frizzy hair pulled back tightly and a vey white smile. Also, unhumanely beautiful.

"Hi Harry." She smiled sweetly.

"Hi." I moaned as I pushed myself up further onto my pillows but something restricted me. My head snapped around directly to my right arm where I could see a drip injected into me. I followed the tube from my arm up until it reached the bag of fluid. I wondered how many doses of numbeness and lies I was been fed.

"That's your drip Harry, we're just trying to help with the pain as much as we can." She said sweetly.

"Ignoring the pain doesn't heal it."I muttered, taking her excuse far too deeply and continued to watch the bubbles float down through the tube.
