Amanda had spent an entire week trying to figure out what to do with the whole Cupid situation.
As the days passed, rumors starting spreading, which pressured Amanda even more to think.
At the end of that week, Winter break had finally arrived. The teachers were kind enough this year to not hand out any assignments during the break, giving Amanda an advantage.
Ebony and Amanda's parents had agreed to let Ebony spend the break at Amanda's house so they both won't be alone and they can watch over each other. Amanda's parents also didn't mind her cousin Maria coming over as well, if anything, she would be a proper caretaker.
Amanda knew that she could ask Maria for help since she was on winter vacation from college. Besides, Maria gave Amanda the idea about Cupid in the first place, and she would love to get involved with any romantic situation.
When Amanda told her the short version of the story, Maria immediately agreed to help after she visits Amanda's aunt first once Winter Break started.
The three girls became a little mini-group together, pitching in ideas on what to do next.

Caitlyn was cuddling her new boyfriend and was giving him a very long make-out session in the hallway.
The bell was a few minutes away from ringing, but her last class had a substitute who didn't care if the students left earlier.
Caitlyn had texted her new boyfriend, Tristan, that she was leaving class early, which quickly convinced Tristan to skip his last few minutes of class to see her.
Red never did that for her; he was a goodie-goodie. Always on time or even early, making sure he had gotten enough sleep by not texting Caitlyn for no more than an hour during the night. She felt that school came first for him, Caitlyn came second.
She honestly didn't care about Red too much, he didn't really reach her standards, so he was her little plaything instead. She was planning on breaking his heart for fun, but he was the one who ended the relationship instead.
Caitlyn liked him the most out of all the boys she's dated so far, that's why Caitlyn wanted to give him a second chance, but only so SHE could break his heart later, but Red blew that chance.
She had decided to get revenge by ruining his reputation. He wasn't going to make a fool out of her.
She had practiced her fake crying to convince everyone that Red was in the wrong, she was even glad when he said no to her in the cafeteria, it made her plan progress even further. Regardless, she kept the act going; there was a reason why she took drama in the first place.
To Caitlyn's surprise, none of the spectators backed her up like she had expected to. Instead, all she saw that day was sad and disappointed faces, mostly pointed towards her.
It was strange for Caitlyn to say the least. All of the schoolboys could only dream of getting a date with Caitlyn, so a boy breaking up with her is surprising enough.
This situation didn't bother her. Caitlyn's reputation had only gone down by a few points, which she can quickly get back in seconds. And Caitlyn had just hooked up with the football team's captain, so that's going to raise her status.
Tristan wasn't as good as Red, but he'll do for now. She was already thinking about how she was going to dump him later on.
No staff or administrators caught the two in the hallways so far, probably because they are getting a head start on packing up for winter break, or because they probably didn't care.
