Red had an eventful winter break compared to what he was used to.

Last year, Caitlyn took up his entire winter break with her demanding Red to spend the winter with her.

Red didn't mind at the time, Red had already finished his homework and had nothing else to do. Besides, Caitlyn had told him that that's supposed to be what couples do.

This year, Red had an assignment to do for his Team Sports, and very long calls from Irvin spent the rest of his time. He seemed to take Red's voicemail very seriously.

As much as Red loved to get his revenge, he was a little sad that Irvin was taking up most of his time. He barely got any chances to talk to Amanda because of Irvin's calls, and the one time he did call her, she didn't pick up.

Red went with the assumption that she was busy and decided to leave her alone. Red wouldn't be lying if he said that he had to resist the urge to call her during the entire break.

He liked the fact that there was someone out there who would not fall asleep during his one-hour rants. He loved it when she got involved in his rants.

He knew Caitlyn never did that for him. He would keep talking on the phone even though he knew that Caitlyn probably had her phone on speaker and was doing something else while pretending that she was listening.

But enough about Caitlyn, she's out of his life now.

Winter Break was over, and Red was excited to get back to school. Mostly to see Amanda.

Ebony is a wild case, but Red didn't mind talking to her either. He secretly wanted to see how good her fanfiction skills were.

Once Red and Irvin both walked into the second floor of the building, the students that would usually be crowded together by their locker were instead crowding in different sections of the walls.

"What's going on?" Irvin asked.

Red could only suspect that people gathering like this meant bad news. As he scanned the crowd, he saw Amanda's friend, Katherine.

Amanda talked about Kat during one of their phone calls. At first, Red was wondering how she became friends with one of her enemies, but she then clarified that there was another Katherine that she met in her Art class.

Katherine was the ears and eyes of the school, for the most part, always knowing what is currently happening.

'She'll know what's going on,' Red thought, "Kit-Kat!"

Kat immediately whipped her head in the direction of the voice, "Red!"

Fortunately, there were some girls like Kat who treated Red like an average person.

Kat ran up to Red, "What's up?"

"The ceiling."

"HA! So cliqué."

"Okay, all jokes aside, what's going on?" Red asked.

Kat clapped her hands and smiled at Red, "You won't believe it! Cupid's gone public!"

It took Red a few seconds to process what Kat was saying, but when he did, he shouted, "What?"

Kat sighed and dragged Red to a section of the hallway not crowded with people, Irvin following closely behind.

Once they reached the section, Kat pointed at one of the posters hanging up.

Red and Irvin started to read the poster. Red recognized the familiar cursive style of writing he saw on the note:
