Amanda finished up her homework and started to unwind.

She had thought about calling Red, but she feared that a five-minute chat would turn into a one-hour conversation, so she crossed him out.

Ebony crossed her mind, but Amanda estimated that Ebony spent her day off procrastinating from doing her unfinished work, so Amanda decided to leave her alone.

Amanda then thought that Maria would like to talk, but she decides not to since Maria occupied herself with college.

Amanda couldn't think of another plan to entertain herself, so she chose to read the note for Cupid and answer it.

The moment Amanda saw the 'Dear Cupid' intro, she identified the handwriting. It was Elliot:

"Dear Cupid,

I'm so happy that I wrote that note to you. Your letter that you designed for me increased my confidence, just like magic! Are you secretly the god Cupid? If so, I wouldn't be too surprised.

I confessed to Lilith as you requested me to, and she felt the same way! I'm practically glued to her side now, just like how I was in elementary school when Lilith and I became companions. I guess the saying that old habits die hard is correct.

Lilith likes it when I'm close to her; she even gets into her protective mode. I created that peculiarity of her, I suppose.

I am proud of how much our relationship has developed; I pretty much grin like an idiot when I reflect about how we both converted for love.

I'm happier with her than I was previously, more than I can imagine! And I have you to thank for that. Sorry that this letter is so long, but I couldn't shorten my gratitude.

I hope fortune comes your way soon!

-Elliot Jenkins"

Amanda flushed and cooed at the note. She was cooing more than flushing because of the accurate description of Elliot's and Lilith's relationship.

"I wish I could have a relationship like that..." Amanda said dreamily.

Amanda froze and tensed after realizing what she just said.

Since when did she care about love for herself? Her primary interest was helping others find love. She doesn't care about her love life.

Cupid was starting to get to her, so she went ahead and wrote a response:

"Dear Elliot,

You could write an entire essay to me; I would still read it word from word. I'm so happy for you and Lilith! I couldn't stop cooing! The two of you were meant for each other, ever since elementary. Love and cherish her for as long as you are able.

The saying is true when old habits die hard. Lilith presumably has been protecting you for a while now, just a guess. A protective personality suggests that she is willing to do anything for you and stay by your side. I recommend that you should possess that protectiveness as well.

Also, just a theory, but perhaps she rejected other guys because she wanted to be with you. Again, just my opinion!

I know the two of you will be happier together, and I hope that maybe the two of you stay close after high school. If the two of you get married, you better invite me!

If you ever have any questions or concerns, know that I am always open!

Follow your heart, for it knows your true desires~!
