I walked for some time with Kihyun laying on my back. It was probably early in the morning while no one was outside. The rain wouldn't stop and I started getting worried that I wouldn't find a place for us to stay.
Kihyun started sneezing "You are going to catch a cold if we keep this up" He was trembling due to the cold wind.
I was fighting to keep myself awake. My eyes kept closing and my leg was in pain. "Minhyuk....you don't have to carry me"
"It's okay, you are tired and deserve some rest"
It didn't take me a lot of time to spot a motel. We could stay there for the night....if I had money. I decided to risk it and plead for a room it's not like I can't pay them back later.
"Kihyun I think I found something" I slowly leaned for him to get off me. I placed his hand around my shoulders thus I could help him balance. "Let's go" I don't know if he realized what I told him or if he just followed me he looked exhausted.
I slowly opened the door and we both bowed to an old man who was sitting behind the counter. "Hello" I pointed to Kihyun to go and sit to some chairs in the back while I approached the counter.
"Hello what can I do for you?"
"We need a room with two beds for the night if it's possible please" I said, I felt embarrassed to ask him if I could repay later.
"That will be 56$ upfront"
"May I ask you for a favor....look I do not have money with me right now but I can leave you my number and my companies address and I can repay you later" I pleaded silently while I didn't want Kihyun to hear me.
"I am sorry but..."
"Please he is going through the hardest days of his life I can't let him sleep outside, I promise, we are going to pay you in the morning" I interrupted him, I looked back at Kihyun again who was waiting for me.
The man sighted "okay but if you don't pay me back till tomorrow I am calling the police" he said with a strict voice.
I smiled and walked to Kihyun "Kihyunnie we will stay here for today" he got up and we both bowed to the man who gave us our room keys.
We headed to our room, Kihyun was still trembling. The place had a disturbing silence but at least it was better than the streets.
Our room consisted of 2 double beds and a bathroom. There were night stands next to our beds. The room had an old style and there was moisture on the walls.
