Chapter 17: Lost

---Gonzo POV---

I woke up today with a kink in my back. I looked around my room and sighed. I hadn't sleep with any more women since Saturday before Catherine's surprise ass seizure. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. My claw marks were barely visible now. I went to the bathroom and showered and brushed my teeth. Their was a knock on my door so I quickly put on my cloths and opened it.

"Time to go!" My little brother Fernando was jumping up and down with his minecraft backpack on. I grabbed my stuff and picked up Ferny. Once in the kitchen I placed him in his chair and gave him some oats. My mom gave me my plate and we all sat down to eat.

"No dad?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Nope. By the way Mrs. Howard's daughter, Catherine right. Try to be friends with her. She's new and all. If Toni and the other guys go after her I'm counting on you to be her knight in shining armor Mu-mu." My mom looked at me with nothing but seriousness in her eyes. I shook my head yes but not really listening. After breakfast I dropped Ferny to pre-school and went to school. I was in the back of the class as always when..

Don't people know how to use a door?! The door opened to reveal a white puppy with blue eyes. It barked twice then moved forward. Inside walked Catherine with a cane and sunglasses on. My friends started to whisper.

"What a let down." Toni was turned off. The others agreed. We watched as she took her seat and talked to two girls who i saw her with at the party. I stepped out the room and was suddenly cornered by Nitasha. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. She suddenly charged her lips at me and soon enough we started to make out. My wolf was shouting at me again.

"You DUMBASS what if your hurt Cathy. You shouldn't be kissing this thot. She's full of STDs! You should only be kissing Catherine!" He barked at me until the bell rang signaling that it was time to go to class. The day flew by and it was now lunch. I was making my way towards the cafeteria when I stumbled upon a barking pup and an immobilized mate. I picked her up and her heart beat got faster.

"Who's there?" She was scared. Her face was sweating and the smell of Nitasha's saliva was on her. I kissed her on the lips and watched fireworks go off. I moved back and she started to calm down. I walked inside the nurses office and placed her on one of the room's bed. I payed down next to her and my wolf immediately sniffed in her scent. I pulled her closer trying the smell her scent even harder. It was like a drug. Out of nowhere she was in the air. I knew it was Sienna controlling Catherine's body. I scowled angrily at her. She just winked at my expression.

"Hey. Let me and Catherine be ok!"I shouted at her. She ignored my request and just flipped me off while whistling. I took offense to this and began to growl. Just when I was beginning to calm down she decided to make me even more pissed off.

"Hey! Why was the soul mate nicknamed Jack?" She waited for an answer but my face just began to boil out of anger.

"BECAUSE HE WAS A JACKASS!!" She laughed uncontrollably still in the air. I wasn't laughing but my wolf on the other was enjoying the whole showcase.

"Hey! I know I'm not a comedian but the least you could do is pretend that it was funny. Even Cathy thought is was funny." I growled at the mention of Cathy's name.

"You still have a dick up your ass?" I chuckled to my joke but Sienna just found it not amusing at all.

"Not your Vienna sausage honey boo-boo."

"Ugh can't you just give it a rest?! It was a dumb stupid mistake!" I was pissed. Nobody takes about my size 6.5 like its a piece of snack able winner! She got mad at my statement but tried to cover it up.

"Ok. So let's have a story time. Once upon a time there was a prince and a princess. The prince didn't like the princess so he tried to kill her. Not once. Not twice no no no. Three times? Ahh.. It was four times in a row. The prince later changed his mind and decided it was time to fuck. He said sorry to the sick, blinded, hurt and depressed princess but before he knew it the princess was already dead. The end."

I hung my head in shame and I could feel that her story had touched Travis as well. I lifted my head back up and decided that I was going to make her beyond mad to get Cathy back.

"When did I try to kill you?" She was taken a back by my question. Her hair began to flare and her face was turning red because of anger but she once again shook it off then smiled.

"Let me tell you. You tried to kill me by crashing into me.. Then you tried to poison me and let's not forget the death penalty. Oh by the way I heard that Russians are crazy in bed..were the rumors true?" She smirked. I heard a new word and was curious though.

"What's the death penalty?"

"It's when a soul mate cheats, rejects or dies, the other mate can only feel the pain. It like your heart exploding...it was our heart exploding. Don't believe me....here listen." She handed me one of the nurse's equipment and pointed to her chest. I listened then stepped back. Their was no heartbeat. Just silence.

"I hate you so much!" She yelled at me, almost making the room shake.

"I know.." I replied about to walk out the door. She grabbed my  arm then Her eyes turned white indicating that it was now Catherine in control.

"But I can't let you go." She said and made me stop right in my tracks. My wolf took over and I was left shocked.

She really is too good for me.
