"I can't just stay here while my pregnant soulmate fights my deranged brother." I protest in frustration. I could hear all the commotion from up here and, from the amount of screams I've heard from all the pain that Daine was causing my fears were kicking up a notch. But that witch was stubborn as all hell. She refused to move from the door and to release me.

"Sorry, but Sabin's rules were clear."

"Who gives a shit! The love of my life is out there and if she dies...I swear I will kill you and anyone you've ever loved in your entire life." She rolled her eyes.

"Threats don't bother me." I groaned in frustration and looked to the left of me to spot the rocking chair that I had personally made for them. I glanced over at the witch who was absentmindedly picking at her nails. I swiftly eased the chair over and yanked one of the legs off and threw it at her.

Surprisingly the woman has catlike reflexes and grabbed the wood right before it went hurling in her chest. I swore under my breath and then I heard Sabin scream in agony outside. My heart rate tripled in beats, if Sabin was screaming like that then that must mean that Addeline is not with her. Or maybe she is...oh god maybe she is! I tried with all my might to get out of the hold she had on me. It felt like I had ice frozen around my feet and ankles.

"That was Sabin." Alina gasped concerned. She looked over at the witch,

"Let him go!"

"What part of no don't you people understand?" I heard a loud growl rumble out of Alina's lips and Jace looked at his wife in shock. She has never ever growled in her life. Is it possible that Addeline is not the only one caring a cursed? She held her hand out towards the witch as red oozed over her irises. She is carrying a cursed. For a moment nothing happened until the harsh sounds of high pitch ringing burst through all of our eardrums. I clenched my ears as it continued and squinted my eyes shut.

"I said release him." I peeked over at the witch who has blood pouring down her ears and eyes. I closed my eyes once more and then the ringing stopped. I slowly removed my hands and opened my eyes. Sprawled out on the floor was the witch, covered in her own blood. I looked over at the two of them as Alina's red eyes disappeared,

"Wh-what happened?" she mumbled before arching her back quickly. She groaned in pain while holding her stomach.

"Ahhh!" Jace pulled away from his daze and grabbed his wife's hand as she squeezed it until it turned purple.

"This baby is coming....now!" she breathed out as sweat poured over her face. I stood to my feet and tried to move one. I sighed in relief when I finally took one step forward. I immediately headed for the door but hesitated when I heard Alina huffing and puffing. She was right about that baby coming out right at this moment.

"Go! They need you more than we do," she replied from behind my back and I turned and gave her a smile before running full speed out the door.

I approached the courtyard and found Daine pressing his claws into a shoulder wound that he had given Sabin. She was screaming from the pain and he stood over her smiling and enjoying every second of her agonizing torture. I shifted completely and approached him,

"You had to send your owner to do the dirty work?" I comment and he looks up at me. A smile breaks out on his face once again,

"Addeline, where's Victoria?" he questioned while removing his foot.

"Dead. I'll send your regards." He chuckled while grabbing Sabin by her arm and dangled her in the air,

"I'll finish you later," he promised before tossing her aside. She slides across the courtyard and remained limp on the ground. He must have really done a number on her because she had plenty of open wounds bleeding profusely. I turned my attention back to him before he tried another sneak attack. He moved towards me slowly as if I were easy prey,
