I groaned as I landed with a loud thud that echoed in the empty cell. The royal guard snickered as he went back up the stairs. He was mean, throwing a twelve year old in a cell that harshly. I got up and sat on the squeaky bed, remembering what had happened here the last time I was in this exact cell.

Eventually, I managed to cry myself to sleep.

But that doesn't mean I had a peaceful night's sleep.

All my dreams were filled with horrible images I couldn't get rid of the following day.

I got my first visitor six days later. And it was none other than Zuko himself. He set the tray of food in front of me but I still refused to eat. He ushered the guards out but he stayed behind.

“You have to eat Avatar Yana.” He said in a small voice. I turned away from him, but as I did so, my tummy rumbled indicating that I indeed was starving. “I don't want to present a stick like Avatar to my father, Fire Lord Ozai. He'll deem you not worthy enough for me to get back my honor.”

“I'm worth zilch.” I muttered, eyeing the food. I managed not to stare at the food, I don't want to drool. Especially not in front of Zuko, the maniac. “And your honor died a long time ago.” I stared at him before looking away again. “The day your dad burned your ugly face.”

Zuko made a sound that indicated his anger before he chuckled. “Nice brother you have. I see he can bend air and water, care to tell me why I was never informed of your brother before? Scared I might turn him in instead of you? Scared that your brother is worth much more than you?”

“Leave him out of this Zuko, or you'll regret it.” I threatened as I fully turned my body towards him. Zuko grinned at me.

“Someone got their balls.” Zuko muttered before stroking the hair out my eyes. I slapped his hand away.

“Do not touch me.” I growled, my stomach doing the same. “And I got no balls.” He began laughing, as if I said the most funniest thing ever known. “I'd say the same for you. Know what I'm saying?”

That was a mistake. The worst mistake I ever made since running away. Zuko stopped laughing and he lost his relaxed attitude. His face was a plaster of pure anger, nothing but anger.

He raised his hand.

I braced myself for the impact.

The slap felt as if someone took a brick and slammed it across my face. Yeah, it was that bad. I could feel the room spinning but I knew it was only my head, but Zuko's face also spinned. I could feel the blood pouring from my nose. Maybe it was broken. I don't know.

“The only reason I came here in the first place,” Zuko growled with a voice that indicated that he was pissed off on a very high level. “Was to tell you that if you don't eat from now on, my dad is only going to give you three days and then you're gonna be killed.” Zuko chuckled. “But cooperate, I'll spare your worthless life after I get my honor back.”
