Ever since the visit I got from Zuko, I've been trying to eat. I don't want to do it, but then again I don't want to die. But the food always came back up, well looks like I'm dead meat. There's a part of me that wants to die, then another part that doesn't. I mean, I don't know what awaits my presence in the spirit world. I just hope that Khoi, or whoever his name is, doesn't steal my face. Is it even Khoi? Or is it Kai? I really don't know. Or care.
My second visitor was Azula, but she didn't really stay. It's ironic how she told me the same thing as Zuko, don't eat, Ozai will kill you before you even blink, but eat, Ozai will spare your pathetic life.
I wonder if Aang and the others are searching for me. I mean I think it's been at least a few weeks since I ran away and went 'missing'. Well, to them I really am missing though. I miss them dearly, all three of them. Although I've never really have spoken to Katara, I still miss her. Then there's Momo and Appa. I miss their daily fights and stuff, but they honestly were so cute.
“Hey Yana!” A very cheerful voice snapped me back to reality. I looked at the person next, she was beautiful. Long beautiful brown hair, big greyish eyes and a pink outfit that made her look like she belonged in a circus. Wait... Did Ozai actually think I'll eat if he sends a clown to come cheer me up? I'm twelve! Not earthing five!
“Why did you say her name Ty Lee? Now she'll think we're creeps.” Another one spoke as she emerged from the shadows. She looked... Gloomy and dead. Her voice lacked emotion, well but she did sound bored.
“Shut it knuckleheads!” The last girl said. “I can't see anything in here, that's already worse enough.” She had bangs hanging over her eyes. I could see that they were white-ish. But they still had a green hue to them.
“I thought you were blind.” The one called Ty Lee said. The gloomy one hit her behind her head.
“I am, but I can see through the vibrations in the ground dofus.” Miss Bangs shot back at her.
“Are you guys going to introduce yourself to me? Or should I just give you guys horrible nicknames?” I raised my right brow at them.
“I'm Mai. This is Ty Lee and this is....” Mai aka Gloom Face didn't get the chance to finish her sentence because Miss bangs had screeched.
“And I'm Toph! It rhymes with tough!” Miss bangs had said. I could see Mai was glaring at her with anger and hatred, and I wondered why.
“Toph Beifong, always thinking that you're so tough just because you're an earthbender, learnt from the original earthbenders masters because you're just as blind as them! Oh and let's not forget the fact that your family is the Beifong family! The richest family in the whole Earth Kingdom! Well guess what?! We're also filthy rich at home, thanks to my dad who is Ozai's personal advisor or something like that, but I don't think myself above others! And I'm certainly not afraid of you!” Mai yelled at the girl whose name was maybe Toph, I don't know because they are confusing me.
“Umm guys?...” They weren't listing, of course they wouldn't listen to me! I mean I'm just the lousy Avatar, not to mention the "peace keeper", who got her butt kicked by a hot headed firebender aka Zuko and who is in a cell! An earthing cell!
“Well I'm sorry if I made you feel that way because I didn't ask to be born like this! And I clearly didn't ask to be born in the Beifong family!” Toph yelled back. She was pissed off, very pissed off.
“Guys!” I yelled again, hoping to get their attention.
“What?!” They yelled in unison.
“Umm... Hi, Avatar Yana here.” I chuckled lightly, feeling somewhat nervous. “I never play this card but I'm the bridge between the spirit world and our world and I'm supposed to be the peace keeper here. So tell me what troubles you fair Mai?” I then got an idea. “Oh and I'm supposed to be outside the cell, not inside.”
“You're the girl Zuko can't shut up about?” Ty Lee suddenly asked. Wow. For a moment there, I even forgot about about her. “Wow, you're even prettier! I mean I knew you're Yana, but I thought you were another Yana! Zuko knows two Yana's!”
I ignored Ty Lee because that's a lie, Zuko hates me. “Why are you here?”
“Shoot!” Toph grunted. “Ozai wanted us to escort you to the hanging arena.”
Right there, right now, my heart wanted to stop. Today I will be hanged for not being worthy. And if I'm killed, then Aang will be hunted.
