Chapter 14: Lion

A/N: again with some quick event,... Imma edit again when I'm done with all the things, cause this chapter (and the previous too) kinda bothers me a lot :|. Currently sick and have to deal with 3 other marketing projects... so.. 2 chapters (kinda crappy so sr for this) for you and... Imma take some pills now and sleep (TvT).

"Jasper!"

"Do you know how to fusion?"

"Yes I've heard of it from the higher general...but I don't know how it actually works.!"

"We don't have a choice... do it now!"

"Urrgh, This better work"

She grabbed her hand, light shine from their linking hand to the body, fusion make everything stronger, as long as their mind stays at one. Their fusion warden, she has four eyes with light green irises and pointed teeth, six arms. Her skin is turquoise with dark green stripes, like Jasper. They darted their eyes at the brunette.

"Malachite, Jail Break" – As they both raise their hand out.

Water suddenly came from the under, forming a chain, tugging the brunette demon down to the ground.

"Is this all you got!" – She's using all her strength trying to escape.

Lapis eyes shone as light as her halo, controlling the holy water underneath it was the one thing that held her in.

"By the power of light, purify everything that was evil within her"

Painfully, struggling to fight back at the burn she felt, the demon got up harsh, slashing those chain by using all of her strength, "What the heck...", she then ran out of the scene. There was a slight of shadow, escaping from the brunette, it slices a cut through Jasper. During that surprise event, she was down on one knee, they were struggling to maintain the power of fusion, Malachite disappear as their link then break apart, Lapis was surprised, hush to checked with Jasper situation.

"Are you okay?"

"Huh, urm, I'm fine, fine, don't worry"

"Seems like she got away"

"Better not coming back tho..."

The chamber, it starting to shake real hard, all of the tiles began to shatter – "What is going on now??!"

"I think this is her room.., fusion warden always have one.., but when their link became separate, it will disappear too"

"Crap..."

Their eyes wandered around for an exit path, but there's none left, the shatter almost reach to their place. Suddenly a tall man with long hair, with beard cover his face... they're all pink. He gestured them to come over.

"Follow me, ladies"

"That's our cue to leave, now"

His hand, slit up in mid-air to open a portal vortex, as they stepped in. Some part was a white void, but... they were at the Temple again..., when Lapis eyes open, she saw them, everyone is here, Steven ran by her side – "Lapisssss!, I was so worried!!!!!!!"

"I'm okay Steven..."

"Thank you, and may I ask, who are you??" – Lapis turned over at where the tall man was.

"He's Lion!!" –Steven yelled.

"What now?"

"His name"

"Allow me to introduce myself to them Steven" – "I'm Lion, one of Pink Diamond's familiar. After the war, since she was...under an unspeakable situation..., I'm currently will be Steven's familiar. I maybe not around much, but when he needs me, I'll be right by his side"

Amethyst murmured to Garnet and the others "He's probably just going hibernate somewhere"

"Thank you, for saving her" – Peridot stepped in

"Don't celebrate yet, they will still strike back if we didn't prepare anything"

It was really dangerous, thanks to Lion we could make it out alive...

"Stay Vigilant" – Pearl reminded to the others.

"We should set up a trap when they try to break in here, alarm us all, the matter is we need to stick together"

"I can do it, leave the system to me" – Peridot confirmed to everyone.

"Everyone else tries to stay awake during these days alright!"

"Let's go Peridot, I'll help you" – Lapis said to her but stopped as what she has seen, - "Peridot???"

The blonde demon, she collapses right in front of Lapis's eyes, can barely even breath... a weak sign of life. Lapis cupped her hand to Peridot face, "What happen to you??", she slowly raises her hand to Lapis's, "I'm,...it's the poison.."

Lapis examined her body, some tear was at the right upper torso of her clothes, she ripped it out, only to find a red mark wound and some sort of darken seal bruise around it... "The poison, it's spreading out fast"

 "No, no stay with me Peridot, I just got back... I can't lose you like this..."

"You ..won't.."

It was her last word when she felt the pain that strikes into her heart again, eyes shut, still breathing, but very weak... Lapis looks like she about to break...

Everything was not yet worse, the young man, he's back, sprinting from the entrance into the Temple. His target...

"Sorry but I have to take him with me" – He grabbed Steven and pulled him out of them.

"Stop it right there!!" – Lion grunted, furiously roar to his face.

"This is not your business, stay out of it"

The Crystal Gems, they're blocking his way out, but he just stood there, slight smirk, "You forgot?"- "I'm a space traveler"

He then presses the device on his arm, causing a major wind blow, suck him and Steven into the unknown. They're gone...

Two gain, Two lost... this is not how things should happen...

Back to Aquamarine's Lair

"Those bastards, their gem is gone, they must have been escaped, but how..."

"Fuck this, not to worry much, since I now have something more valuable now. To activate the Cluster"

"Guess my job here is done" - the young man hovers his hand to her.

"You can leave, all the stuff will be transfer to your ship immediately"

"Thank you, my lady"

She turned her head back, there was Steven, tied up next to Agate... she has been torture, poor soul. Steven could bear to look, his eyes were tearing up.

"Why are you doing this??!, Tell me"
