Chapter 10: ANIMO Rally

Two months since that awesome day in the clinic… One month since Tomsy aka Ara and I became roomates… why Tomsy?... Hmmm…

[FLASHBACK]

We ‘re on our second week at the dorm and hinde maikakaila na talgang close na kami  ng mga bullies… higit lalo si Ara.  I really don’t know how to explain it pero there seems to be an invisible tie that binds us. Sobrang click. Di man mag-usap, parang alam kung ano ang nasa isip ng bawa’t isa… tipong we can finish each others sentences.

Ang daming kilig moments. Hayst! Kung nakamamatay ang kilig, for sure multo na ako ngayon at makailang beses ng nategi.

“I will call you Daks from now on. Ang tangkad mo kasi eh. “, she said while we were preparing for sleep.

We each have a single bed in our room. She took the right corner while I took the left side. Both beds are placed beside the walls.  Ara’s is closest to the bathroom door while mine is closest to the bedroom door. We each have a study table near the foot of our respective beds. We have our own side table situated near the headboards… hers on her left side and mine on my right side.  Built in cabinets are situated facing our beds.

“Daks?! Dahil matangkad ako? Di ko ata gets ang connect”, i said wanting for her to explain my new nick.

“TangKAD… Kads eh. Kaso mas cute ang Daks. kaya binaligtad ko na lang. Hehe”, Anak ni Voldemort!!! Ang corny pero kinilig ako. Ang cute nya tumawa talaga. Halos mawala na ang eyes o.

“Dapat ako din may tawag sa ‘yo para fair. Hmmm… Tomsy!!! Yes. I will you call you Tomsy starting today. Kung bakit? Ewan ko. Walang dahilan. Nakyukyutan lang ako. Gusto ko lang. Haha!” Sa totoo lang, will call her Tomsy kasi she is my tomboy. Haha! Bad mo, Mika! She didn’t came out to me. Pero inferred naman kasi sa mga kwento nya na she isn't straight... That she likes girls more than boys. Kita din sa pagkilos at pananamit.  Saka di ba, nakita ko sya with her “Babe” dati. Asan na kaya si Babe nya? Di ko makamusta o matanong si Ara tungkol dun, kasi ayaw nya tinatanong about sa mga relationships nya before other than her family. Ano nga kaya ang nangyari? Nagbreak na kaya sila? Sayang! They looked good together pa naman. They looked sooo inlove. O well, kung hindi na sila, mas pabor sa akin. Hihi.

“Luh! Ang ale, kung makatawa wagas. Lakas ng trip ah”, she said at nakitawa na rin.

“Earth to Yeye. Hello!!!!”, pagbasag ni Cienne sa pagmumuni ko.

“Kung makapangyugyug naman ‘to wagas. Nag-iisip lang po ako ng pwede nating gawing presentation.” We're brainstorming about the number that we will be presenting sa Animo Rally (Pep Rally) next week. Every year kasi rookies of each team represent their respective teams in a production number. Pano ba ‘to? Nang nagpaulan ang cosmic ng talento sa pagkanta at pagsayaw eh mukang di ko nabasa ang memo kaya’t natulog ako. Tsss!

“Nag-iisip daw. Eh mukang nagdadaydream ka na naman kay crushie mo eh”, sabat ni Camille at ngumiti ng nakakaloko sa akin. Nahuli nya kasi akong kinilig kay Tomsy one time after akong alalayan pagbaba sa taxi. At dahil feel ko sasabog na ako nung mga oras na yon... ayun napaamin at napakwento  ang kagandahan ko tungkol kay crushie.

“Crushie ka dyan. Wala akong crush, no”, sagot ko habng pinandilatan si Camille. Lokang ‘to at sa harap pa talaga ni Tomsy ako tinukso. “Crucio!!!!”, sabay wave kunyari ng magic wand.
