Tori's head snapped in my direction. A grin slowly began to appear on her face. "Is that mister lover boy?" She sang.

"Shut up." I began to turn red. I started typing a message back to him. I sent it quickly before Tori started eavesdropping.

Sent!

Hey! Do you think you could tell me your name now?

I locked my phone and chucked it beside me and I continued to watch PLL. I couldn't stop my eyes from looking at my phone screen every two seconds. I don't know why but I just felt like I needed to know more about him. He was super mysterious and I liked that because it intrigued me.

My phone pinged and I picked it up straight away and unlocked it. I clicked on the messages and found that it was just a reply back from my mum.

From: Mum

Spain is great! Glad you got to Miami alright. Enjoy yourselves and please be safe. Grandad said he misses you. xoxo

I decided to text back straight away.

To: Mum

I'm always safe ;) I miss him too! xoxo

I sent the text before locking my phone again. I grabbed a pillow and laid it infront of me. I laid on my stomach and continued watching the show.

Tori yawned loudly. "I think I'm going to sleep. I'm so tired and we've got to get up quite early tomorrow. I think you should go to sleep too, Charlotte."

I nodded and Tori switched the TV off. I put my phone on silent and I placed it on charge on the small table at the side of my bed.

"Night." Tori said as she got under the covers of her bed. She switched her lamp shade off and shifted on to her side.

"Night." I replied. I laid on top of my covers and just relaxed. I must have stayed in that position for like 20 minutes. There were a few light faint snores coming from Tori so she fell straight to sleep.

I climbed off of my bed and went to the bathroom opposite my bed. I used the toilet and took my hair out of its plait. I threw all my hair on top of my head and made a messy bun. I wiped off my makeup using a makeup wipe before turning the light off and exiting the bathroom.

I pulled the covers down and climbed in to my bed. I got my cushions sorted before settling down in bed and getting comfy. My phone lit up and it vibrated.

Well I don't usually tell strangers my name... How about we hang out tomorrow?

I thought back, I don't have to be at the convention centre until 11, I suppose there is time to hang out before the panel thing. I started typing a message back to him.

To: Unknown

I am available until 10:45 :)

I sent the text and waited for a reply. I flipped onto the other side and glanced out of the window as I waited. The sea appeared black but it was just a reflection from the sky. The waves crashed slowly into the sand at shore before retreating. My phone buzzed again and I checked my messages.

From: Unknown

Great, I'll meet you at the top of the pier at 9:45?

To: Unknown

Sounds good. See you then.

I placed my phone on charge and set an alarm for 9 tomorrow morning. I took my phone off of silent ad placed it back on the side table. I moved down in the bed and got comfy before closing my eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep.

The ringing in my ear wouldn't stop so I crawled over and turned it off. Finally the noise stopped and I climbed out of bed and over to my wardrobe. I pulled out a white crop top and some dark denim high waisted shorts. I decided to take a dark red chequered shirt in case it was cold. I set my clothes on my bed before going in the bathroom and having a quick shower. I washed and conditioned my hair before putting a towel around my body and climbing out of the shower.

I wrapped my hair in a towel and got changed into my clothes. I took my hair out of the towel and blotched my hair with the towel before plugging my hair dryer in the bathroom and using it. My hair dried in it's natural curls so I found my Dimepiece LA 'Ain't No Wifey' beanie and put that on. I used Tori's barrel curlers to make larger curls at the front that go in opposite directions. I unplugged everything and grabbed my phone. I put my black converse on and tied the laces up. I left a note saying that I'd gone for some breakfast. I made my bed quickly and checked the time. 9:30. I've got 15 minutes to get to the pier. Plenty of time.

I exited the hotel and walked over to other side of the road. I stepped on my shoe lace and it came loose. I bent down and tied it quickly. Something hit my head and I looked up. I rubbed my head and saw a football (/soccer ball) next to me. I picked it up and frowned. I looked around saw a boy jogging over to me.

"Sorry about that." He came over with a worried look on his face. He looked into my eyes then at my forehead. "I didn't do that, did I?" He asked, referring to the small bump on my forehead from the car thing the other day.

I laughed. "Nope. That's a steering wheel injury." He frowned but then began to smile. "Here's your ball back." I handed him his football (/soccer ball) back and he looked at it before looking back at me.

"Shawn! Stop flirting and help me!" A blonde kid, further down the road, yelled to him. I chuckled and 'Shawn' laughed awkwardly. He scratched the back of his neck and looked down at the blonde kid.

"I've got to go." He shrugged. "I'm Shawn."

"I'm Charlotte." I smiled. "It was nice meeting you. Thanks for hitting me." I said the last part sarcastically and I laughed slightly.

Shawn laughed too. "It was my pleasure." He backed away slowly. I didn't want to seem like a creep as I watched him walk away so I turned my back and continued walking towards the pier.

When I got to the pier, the unnamed boy was leaning against the gate that was blocking the entrance to the pier. I walked over and smiled. He looked up and smiled back. "Hey!" He said eagerly, pulling me into a hug.

"Hey." I paused. "So what are we going to do?" I asked looking around.

"It's up to you." He shrugged and looked at me curiously. He glanced at my forehead. "What happened to your head?" He questioned.

"Ugh. Some idiots carved my car up so I had to slam my brakes on, I ended up hitting my head on the steering wheel. Is it that noticeable?" I said, placing a hand over my forehead.

"No you can barely see it." He ensured me. "So what are we going to do?"

"We could go for a walk down on the beach.." I trailed off and looked up at him. He raised his eyebrows and I stopped talking. "Sorry boring idea." I rolled my eyes.

"No. No! It sounds good, if that's what you want to do." He shrugged and smiled. I nodded and we walked down the steps at the side of the pier. I slipped my shoes of and held onto them as we began walking across the sand. We walked over in the direction of the water and walked at the side of it. "So tell me something about yourself." He said.

"How about you tell me your name first!" I laughed and punched him on his arm playfully.

"You want to know my name?" He raised his eyebrows at me and I nodded.

"You look like..." I looked at his face and features. "You look like an Alex." I say. I start laughing at his reaction.

He begins to laugh and shakes his head. "My name is not Alex."

"What is it then?" I rolled my eyes and looked at him, waiting for an answer.

"My name is Carter McCoy Reynolds."
