Chapter 51

Venus.

Reyna POV

The natural warmth and tenderness of his lips was something I never wanted to stop experiencing. The way my heart and mind stopped working when he touched me.

I felt him pulling away and I wanted nothing more than to pull him back in to my lips, but he wouldn't like that.

When Leo broke away from me I frowned.

" Well I guess I'll be be going back to my camp now. " Leo smirked at me. A small blush met my cheeks.

" Farewell. " Leo ran off towards his ship and I gave him one last wave goodbye.

" Reyna. " Frank's voice came from behind me. I turned to meet his eyes.

" Can I ask why you lied to him? " His eyes analyzed me.

How did he know? " I'm not sure what you mean. " I turned and began to walk away from him, but he grabbed my wrist.

" Don't play that game with me Reyna. I know that you got over Jase and Perce a long time ago. I also know that you convinced Leo into thinking you used him. Don't think for a second I don't know that you actually love him. "

I grabbed Frank's arm with my free hand and Judo-Flipped him. While he was on the ground I walked out of the arena and back to the Praetor hall.

' How did Frank know? How could he have possibly found out that I staged my fights with Leo? How the Pluto did he find out I lied to Leo?! '

After thinking to myself for a couple hours, night had fallen and I decided to fall asleep early.

*Reyna's Dream*

I was in the arena training a couple of new recruits the basics of combat.

Suddenly I felt arms wrapped around my stomach and found Leo's smirk on my shoulder.

" Hey. " He pecked my cheek.

" Leo, I have to finish training these guys. "

His face nuzzled into my neck.

" C'mon Rey you promised me we would go by the lake. " He began kissing my neck. It was so hard to say no when he did that.

I sighed. " Fine. You win. "

" Recruits! Report to the mess hall! "

The children scattered and mad dashed to the mess hall.

I took off my armor and slipped my hand in Leo's. " So, the lake? "

Leo and I walked to the lake. My head was rested on his shoulder as we held hands.

We stood together on the small wooden bridge that we built over the lake as the sun began to set.

" Reyna? "

" Yes, Leo? "

" Y'know I love you right? "

I smiled. " Of course I do. As long as you know that I love you more. "

Leo looked at me and touched my cheek with his warm and rough hands. No doubt from always toying with metal.

He leaned in to kiss me and-
