Chapter 49

Cold.

Leo POV

I woke up pinned to a wall. With steel braces holding my hands on place. My legs in the same position. I analyzed where the Hades I was and wasn't too surprised.

Ice Floors, Ice Walls, Ice Furniture, the only things that weren't made of ice were my chains. It was like a cliché ice villain's lair.

" Good, you're awake. "

Khione snapped her fingers and I fell from the wall. I stood and my body felt horrible.

I tried to summon fire, but only a candle sized flame arose.

" It's no use, my castle suppresses any flame you can create. "

She took a couple steps forward and touched my cheek. For once, I actually witnessed what it was like to feel cold.

Khione moaned. " The warmth is painful, but so pleasurable. "

She forced her lips on mine and my body only became number. I tried as hard I could to keep my natural heat, but it didn't work.

Khione broke away from me.

" Yes that's it. Resist. Your heat will help me reach Nirvana. "

Khione forced her lips against mine again, along with her tongue, my mind said resist. Therefore, my body emitted more heat, which only made Khione moan more. Finally she broke away and bit her lips.

" I can't wait to see how you are when you have your strength back. It's going to be amazing when your natural warmth is back. "

Khione walked away and I stood up. I summoned a candle flame and warmed my body. Being cold sucks.

I found a bit of sunlight and turned the corner. An archway revealed itself and I walked through. I found myself on a balcony that overlooked a frozen lake.

" Calypso. I'm sorry. " I muttered to myself and could only think how I just betrayed the love of my life. I just let a girl kiss me and didn't do a damn thing about it.

I don't deserve to be with Calypso if I can't even stop myself from kissing another girl. She deserves better than that. Someone who won't betray her.

" She deserves to be with Percy. Percy wouldn't have done this to her. If he was kidnapped and his strength was drained, he still would have fought the girl that kissed him. He wouldn't betray Annabeth like I just did to Callie. "

" Percy wouldn't have just sat there while that happened. "

My eyes became watery.

" I'm sorry, Sunshine. "

Guess this means we won't open a shop. Guess this means I won't be getting married to her either.

My eyes closed and I fell to the floor.

* The Next Day. *

 Thanks to passing out in the sun, my body was no longer numb and cold. My warmth and heat had returned to keep me warm.

 I stood and left the Icy Floor where I had passed out yesterday. I turned to meet a pair of cold eyes.

" This is going to be amazing now that your fire is back. "
