Candy Crush

Today, I played the game of candy crush.
And I lost, over, and over, and over again.
All the time I kept on playing, it wasn't losing that was frustrating;
It was trying to figure out that one move.
One move that could have changed the odds in my favour.
One move that could have made the patterns on the screen dance to my fingers.
That one move,
That could have changed the game in my favour
Isn't it funny to know,
That these same rules apply in reality?
Isn't it funny, that what seems to be for a few minutes of fun,
Could teach us things that could last us an eternity?
What if you paid attention to the little patterns on the screen?
What if that was your one move out of that stage in life where we keep trying and failing?
What if that little bit of detail you took for granted,
Was your one move to a better life?
But I guess we'll never know.
Because that's the worst part;
We never realize that One move,
Until the game is over,
And we lose again.
