AN: Hello everyone! I'm sorry that this is a late update, but I actually have a good reason. What might that be? Well, when I logged onto Wattpad is was't working, so yeah. Not much I can do about that. Anyway please read the author's note below if your interested in a one shot! I figured I might as well try writing some. So, anyway, here's chapter 11!

Kari’s POV

This talk had not gone as planned. I mean, I had told Harry most of what I wanted to, but I didn’t plan on him asking me to be his girlfriend. We stood in silence for what seemed like eternity. His eyes bore into mine. I wasn’t sure what to say. We had just made up. Wasn’t asking me that going a little fast?

“Kari…” He trailed off. He pulled me closer to him and pressed his lips gently to mine. It only lasted a few seconds, but they were pretty wonderful seconds. But Harry wasn’t fully aware of the pain he caused me. I had only known him for a week at the most. I didn’t completely trust him.

“Harry, we all know that under that player attitude, you’re a really nice guy. I’m just not ready yet. I need to know I can trust you. That you really care about me.” I explained. It pained me to say that, but I knew it was best. I looked at Harry, waiting for him to explode in my face.

            “I understand.” He whispered.

“You, you do?” I asked surprised.

“I do. And I’ll do whatever it takes to earn your trust.” He vowed.

“Thanks Harry. So, friends?” I asked him.

“Friends.” He said. “With benefits.” He added. We both laughed.

            “Maybe. I said.

“Well, we should probably rejoin the others. We don’t want to put any ideas in their heads.” Harry said. I laughed thinking about what was probably going through Louis’s head right now. I had no doubt he had already planned some dirty jokes for when we came back. I gave Harry a quick hug before opening the door and going over to where the others were. There were two seats left, right next to each other. The silently laughed, knowing that was on purpose. I sat down on the free chair next Zayn and Harry sat on the other one next to Louis. I noticed Britt was missing from the group, but didn’t say anything. She probably just had to go get napkins or something, right? I saw everyone had food in front of them, but I wasn’t hungry. I never really was. Don’t get me wrong, I ate a proper amount of food each day, just not as much as other people. I wasn’t anorexic or anything; I just had a small appetite. I avoided the expectant stares and pulled out my phone to purposely annoy everyone. Claire reached across the table and snatched it out of my hand.

            “Hey!” I exclaimed.

            “Hey!” She mimicked.

“Are you going to tell us or not?” She asked impatiently.

“Tell you what?” I asked innocently.

“What the fuck is going on with you and Harry?” Louis said loudly, gaining some stares from others around us.

“We’re friends.” I state and he puts his arm around me.

“With benefits.” He added. I shake my head.

“Friends?” Zayn asked skeptically. He was the only one who knew that was only partially true.

“Yes Zayn. We’re friends.” I say.
