Izzy’s POV
One of the three aliens that had been tracking down Alex turned into human form. It was the man in the brown tuxedo last night, yeah, the exact one who happened to the director of SHEATH Agencies and the one who chased after Alex for stealing their displayed USB. “Well, well, well”, he grimaced. “I finally saw you again with your sinister face Alexandria”.
“How’d you know my name?” Alex demanded with a determined tone. I couldn’t pay much attention to him and the director since I was trying to protect the other passengers. They were shivering with fear. We couldn’t leave them like that.
“It probably is a coincidence that I know your name since… you know… you’re wanted all over the world as master mind behind all international crooks and robbers”.
Alex took into girl form. “So, what are you trying to show everybody? You’re framing me to be evil like you?”
“Ah, I never framed anyone”.
“You are right now!” she charged at him but he dodged her attack.
The man chuckled. “Well, I’m not framing you to be evil. Who said I did? You were born to be a criminal. You’re a savage along with your dreaded brother and father! And I see your mother also had given up on you”.
“My mother never gave up on me! My father was too poor so he couldn’t think of a good way to raise us. And finally, my brother isn’t bad and none of my family members are savages!”
“Can’t you just look at a mirror for once and stop that lion in you? Can’t you see you are a savage, my girl?”
Alex snarled. “What do you want from me?”
“I’m just here to bring you to justice”.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, I’m officially putting you behind bars. You’ve done enough trouble to the world for once”.
“Tell that to the guy who presents to me with ugly aliens at his side!”
“You’ll be regretting what you said. Hand over the USB!”
“Make me”.
“Fine, if you can’t give us the USB, say goodbye to your brother!” he turned a chair in front of us. An alien sat there all tied up and unconscious.
“A-Abriel…?” Alex’s voice turned shaky. “Give me back my brother!”
“Hand over the USB first”.
I shook my head. “Alex, don’t do it! That’s not Abriel! It’s an illusion!”
She preferred to be stubborn all this time. Oh, when will this girl ever going to learn? “Here”, she glided the USB across the floor towards the director. “Now, my brother, please”.
“Haha”, the man laughed maniacally. “I have the USB! And you girl, you were dumb enough to give it to me!”
“Give me Abriel! I thought we had a deal!”
“You mean this weak little young man?” the man pointed a knife under the alien’s chin. “If you want him, come and get him. We’ll be waiting outside for your decision”.
I couldn’t take it in anymore. I grabbed a bomb from my bag and threw it at the aliens. The rest of the train exploded in a blink. “Nice work”, Addison complimented for real and not sarcastically. “Alex, what are we gonna do now?”
“I lost my brother and the USB”, she muttered staring deeply at the railroad. “I have to get them back. The man and the aliens are still there waiting for me out there”.
