Ellie's POV

It's been four human years since we won that battle against the dark Fae. Time moves differently here. Almost as if time does not move at all compared to the human dimension. In those four years, a lot has happened. I've learned a lot about myself, and my people. I was cursed to be without powers before I was born by Jessimae as a deal made with Mary, my adoptive mom. That curse started to wear off the moment I ended someone's life. Terra, Angus, and I have decided to stay in Rhona, and I have come to love this land and it's people. Elanor and Conri have accepted us with open arms, and though Mary was the mother I had known for my whole life, I was glad I had my mom and dad still here. I do not hold any hatred towards Mary, I just wish she had told me all of this before she was killed.
Angus is a father, that day on his funeral when Delaney asked him out, they quickly fell in love, their little girl is almost one now, and her name is Eliwyn, after Terra and I.
Terra, has made a full recovery, no more nightmares or flashbacks. My father offered her a job as a commander of our army, a much higher rank than she was in her other battles, hundreds of years ago.
Terra and I live together in a small house we built just outside the castle walls. We have a dog named Queenie, a cat named Copper, and a ferret named Robin.
I have learned how to better understand and control my powers, and have become much more skilled in battle. When I am not practicing dance, painting, gardening, reading, or cooking, I am training my combat skills, studying for school, learning how to be a leader, and building my powers. My mother and father are close to retirement, and plan on giving me the throne when they do. I hope I will do this land a service by being the best Queen I can.
I never thought my life would turn out this way. The love of my life by my side, best friends and family members I have come to know and love surrounding me, the princess of a place that should not exist, and one of the most powerful Fae there has ever been. These wings on my back, though they may be new, and may have come with hardships and turmoil attached to them, these wings, are priceless.

Thank you so much for reading all the way through! I look forward to writing more, hopefully you stick around to see what I come up with. My writing style has changed a lot since I wrote this like four years ago, so I'm excited to share with everyone.
