the best hamildrop by far, i think. I haven't heard the recent ones because i don't know what they are, but thats fine because i actually am in love with this one.
Anyways,,,, i have to write a satirical piece formatted like Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" and the problem isn't me having trouble being sarcastic or sassy, or even what I'm gonna talk about, rather, its that I'm not sure how I'm supposed to write it. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love the fact that my ap lang teacher is letting us be as sarcastic as possible, i just kinda wish it were easier to go about writing it?¿¿??¿ if that even makes any sense at all.
I'll leave a link to the original piece because its actually probably the greatest thing i have ever gotten to read:
https://andromeda.rutgers.edu/~jlynch/Texts/modest.html
copy and paste that into the search bar cause i don't think it'll let you guys click it.
but yeah i have till wednesday to write this whole thing, and the 1200 word limit is really a controversial topic for me to discuss.
on the one hand i understand why he wants 1200 words like the guy's got 69 of these to read. But with this type of topic, theres too much i wanna say and not enough words.
back to writing.
