After the wedding, Khai spent a month day-off sa office. Si Daddy (Dad ni Khai) na muna daw ang mamamahala nito para sa 'honeymoon' daw namin.
"Good Morning My Love" he said sweetly as we cuddled in the bed.
"Good Morning too" sabi ko and lean closer to his chest. Ang bango niya talaga
"Nagluto na ako ng breakfast. Want to eat?" Tanong niya
I nodded at umayos ng pagkaka-upo sa higaan. He cook a typical breakfast meal. Merong Fried Rice, Sunny Side up egg, hotdog and Bacon.
Sinubuan niya ako when I smelled something gross. Parang may hinalukay sa aking tiyan kaya mabilis akong pumunta sa banyo at nagduwal.
Am I pregnant!?
Natataranta siyang nakasunod sa akin and caressed my back. "Shit! Are you okay Love?" Nag-aalala niyang tanong
I look at him at gusto ko nang matawa sa itsura niya. Ang putla niya kasi at nakalukot ang mukha niya sa pag-aalala.
I laugh at him
"It's not funny Love" seryoso niyang sabi
"Sorry, nakakatawa lang kasi ang itsura mo" natatawa kong sabi
"Damn! Halos mamatay na nga ako sa pag-aalala tapos tatawanan mo lang pala ako" may bahid na pagtatampo sa kanyang boses.
"Aww..." I said and kiss him "I love you" dagdag
I saw him blush so I chuckled. Nag-iwas nalang siya ng tingin
"Sigurado ka bang okay ka lang?" Pangungulit niya
"Oo nga" sabi ko
We went back eating afterwards pero pina-alis ko sa kanya ang mga sibuyas dahil nasusuka ako sa amoy. Kadiri!
2 days passed and vomiting in the morning is not new to me. Buti nalang ay nasa 3 days business deal sina Khai sa Palawan dahil baka mahimatay yun kapag nalaman na nagsusuka na naman ako sa umaga.
My instinct is telling me that I'm pregnant. Nagsisimula na rin kasi akong mag-crave ng mga pagkain so I decided to consult my doctor friend. She is 10 years older than me.
"Trisha!" She exclaimed happily and hug me
I smile and hug her back. "It's good to see you again Shan" sabi ko
"So your pregnant?" She ask excitedly
"I just wanna make sure" sabi ko
"Nagpa-pregnancy test ka na ba?" Tanong niya. Umiling ako kaya binigyan niya ako ng dalawa
I take the pregnancy test and use it. There are two lines. Oh my Gosh! I'm pregnant
Tumulo ang mga luha sa aking mga mata. "Trish, kumusta?" Tanong ni Shan ng buksan ang pinto ng banyo
She notice me crying so an 'o' formed her mouth. "Congratulations Trish! God, I'm so happy for you" she said and hug me
"I check natin si Baby" she said chuckling
Pinahiga niya ako and started putting a cold gel on my belly. May ultrasound sa gilid showing the figure of our baby.
"How's my little angel?" Tanong ko
"Your little angel is perfectly in good health Trish. Do you want to take the ultrasound picture?" She ask and I nodded.
I went home very happy as I hold the picture of the ultrasound lately. I got to bed and sleep early. I can't wait to tell him the news. Ano kaya ang magiging reaksyon niya? Hmmm... let's wait and see
I woke up early and prepared our breakfast. Naglilihi kasi ako sa salad. Yum!
As soon as the breakfast is served, bumukas ang pinto ng bahay at iniluwa si Khai. He looks tired but still managed to smile at me.
Lumapit siya sa'kin and hug me as he place a soft kiss on my forehead then to my lips.
"I miss you and I love you so damn much" sabi niya
I chuckled "I miss you too. And I love you" Sabi ko and hug him.
"May surprise nga pala ako sa'yo" ngiting sabi ko
"Ano?" Ngiting tanong niya
Kumawala ako sa yakap at kinuha ang ultrasound picture sa baby namin.
"Ano to?" He ask as he received the picture
"Basta... just open it" i excitedly told him
He first give me a weird face probably confuse pero kalaunan ay binuksan niya naman.
Dahan-dahan niya itong binuksan at kinuha ang picture. Naginginig ang kamay niya. "A-are you..." he stuttered"
I smiled sweetly and nodded.
His face is painted in shock and happiness. Nagsimula na rin bumuo ang mga butil ng luha sa kanyang mga mata.
Yinakap niya ang aking tiyan and place multiple kisses. "Oh god, Our little angel" umiiyak niyang sabi. Natawa nalang ako.
