For four days straight, Jimin left bouquets for Yoongi in his chambers. The latter would smile when seeing them and hold the bouquets and the letter that always came with them close to his body.

Yoongi was completely oblivious to the meaning the flowers carried. He had no idea Jimin had been practically confessing his feelings with them, but cherished them nonetheless.

It wasn't long before Jimin got tired of waiting around for Yoongi to notice and decided to take the matters into his own hands.

When the two were relaxing under the moonlight, a blanket flattened below them and Yoongi's head resting on Jimin's thighs, the latter nervously spoke in a whisper.

"Yoongi?" The king hummed in response. "I-I um... well, I've been thinking a lot this past weeks, a-and I've come to realize that- well, that I..." he trailed off, not managing to gather enough courage.

"What is it?" Yoongi asked, looking slightly concerned as he sat up properly and placed his hand over Jimin's and rubbed it with his thumb.

The fairy's face was bright red, even if Yoongi couldn't see it under the dim moonlight. He took a deep breath before reaching out to grab a red tulip he had been hiding from the human.

Jimin handed Yoongi the tulip, not even daring to look at him in the eyes. Yoongi chuckled. "Is this why you were so nervous? All because of a flower?" He laughed. "What does it mean anyways?"

Jimin's heart felt like it had stopped beating.

"R-red tulips are- they're supposed to represent.... love confessions." He whispered the last part, his heart drumming loudly against his ribs with such a force the boy thought his chest might burst.

Yoongi stayed silent, staring at the tulip in his hand. Jimin could feel his heart shattering, because the silence seemed like nothing but a rejection to him. Though as he got up to run as far away from Yoongi as his legs could carry him, the king pulled him back down and embraced him so tightly that the fairy genuinely thought his bones might break.

And Jimin couldn't help it. He couldn't hold back the tears.

Jimin had no idea why he was crying, he really didn't, because at that moment, he felt happy. He smiled through the tears as he buried his face in Yoongi's back and cried quietly, wrapping his arms around the king, too.
