Even someone like Jimin, who was neither a servant, rushing around and following commands with the purpose of arranging everything perfectly, nor a noble woman, demanding that their corsets be tightened even more by their ladies-in-waiting and that they fetch her prettiest jewels, because they just had to look splendid for the prince's arrival.
A small boy, invisible to all humans anxiously rushing around the royal grounds, hid behind a tall tree, shooting curios glances at anyone that walked past him. He tugged at the hem of his white flounce sleeve, which was a tad too long and fell over his hands.
Said boy was Jimin, who was, as mentioned before, neither a noble nor a servant. He wasn't even human. Jimin was a fairy, and a very beautiful one indeed. He had soft pink hair that fell over his eyes and delicate brown eyes that could make anyone melt, eyes that crinkled when he smiled and rosy cheeks that only added to his pure and innocent aura.
Not only was he beautiful, but he was also loving and caring. Though Jimin's small frame and charismatic personality might make it seem like he's less threatening than a butterfly, he could easily cast a spell someone if he wished to do so.
Well, maybe not too easily. While Jimin was indeed talented and had his way with nature, he had a hard time with the smallest of jinxes or spells placed on people, he couldn't even get someone into a trance easily. Which tended to be quite simple for fairies because, being completely honest, most fairies had dazzling beauty. And yet, being one of the most dazzling fairies in the fairy world, Jimin just couldn't get it right.
Either way, Jimin found humans mesmerizing. He had never quite understood them, with all their rules and social statuses, but it was sure fun to try to figure them out, even if he hadn't gotten an answer to any of his questions yet. He liked observing them.
And as of now, it was exactly what he was doing. Again, as mentioned before, the king's firstborn was arriving to the palace that very same day after being sent away to another kingdom very far, far away when he was only but a child.
Jimin had no idea what was going on, but all the constant buzzing that day was enough to make him curious and come out and observe. Usually, he would only come out at night. Not because he was afraid of being caught by humans, the boy could choose to show himself to others or remain invisible willingly, but because the man that was in charge of caring for him thought it was improper and dangerous.
