"Shh, shhh," Taehyung shushed Jimin, who was now burying his face in the other's chest. Hoseok, too, was there comforting Jimin, his hand in the younger's.
"It was only a matter of time, my Flower, this was inevitable," the witch whispered, rubbing a thumb against Jimin's hand. The comment earned him a glare from Taehyung.
"What? It's true, I even told him so myself!" He mouthed at the fairy with two colored hair.
Jimin sniffled. "Y-you were right, Seokie. You were right." His eyes were red and puffy and his lips swollen from biting them to drown down sobs. "God, I was stupid to believe that maybe we could... that maybe..."
That maybe we'd have a happily ever after, or a happy present.
"That's just how feelings work, Jiminie, but worry not, boys and girls come and go."
But I don't want just some other boy or girl, I want Yoongi. Jimin wanted to cry out, but he knew it was childish. And he didn't want Taehyung and Hoseok to think he was childish. They wouldn't understand.
The king and the fairy had only known each other for over a month, yet he was so attached to Yoongi already. Spending so much time with him was dangerous.
"I take it that you're not gonna go back to that place again?" Taehyung suddenly blurts out, and Jimin stays silent. "You're not going back, right?"
When Jimin keeps silent, Hoseok swears "Goddamned it, Jimin, you can't go back. He broke your heart, he doesn't even deserve to see you again!"
"But I wanna know why he did it, I can't just forget about him without knowing why." The fairy states, which has both of his friends rolling their eyes.
"Jimin, sometimes humans are just like that, driven by lust. Maybe it's best for you to let it go," Hoseok continued.
"Not Yoongi..." both groan with disappointment.
"Fine, do as you please, but if you get your heartbroken again, remember we told you so!" Taehyung says reproachfully, sighing with exasperation.

The fairy is once again disguised as a human, and it's when he's cleaning up on of the fountains on the garden that Yoongi approaches him and pulls him behind a cone shaped tree. He tries to kiss him, but the younger pulls back. Yoongi frowns, confused. "I didn't see you last night, where were you?"
