Since Jimin had to wait for the potion to stop acting up so he could look normal again and find somewhere to hide his clothes, it was past midnight when Jimin managed to sneak back into the fairy realms without being noticed, and let's just say guilt was eating him up.
The following morning during breakfast time, he saw Taehyung poking at his food, looking hapless, but when Jimin slid onto the bench to sit by his side, his whole expression changed and he launched himself at the fairy with pink hair.
"You had us all worried sick!" Taehyung exclaimed, tightly wrapping his arms around the small boy's frame. "I-I thought that- that maybe-"
"The humans had gotten a hold of me?" Jimin whispered into the crook of his soulmate's neck, who slowly nodded in response. "Well, nothing happened, so you can stop worrying now."
"Jin will kill you when he gets a hold of you," Taehyung said, finally letting go of Jimin.
"Yeah, I wouldn't have expected anything else. But Tae- there's something I need to tell you, and I think I might need your help."
"With what?" Taehyung asked, tucking a strand of blond hair behind his ear.
Jimin looked around nervously and said "I'll tell you once we're somewhere less crowded. And anyway, I haven't eaten anything since last night, I'm starving." He started munching on the glazed biscuits that were displayed in front of Taehyung.
Out of the blue, Hoseok popped up with a cloud of blue smoke surrounding him and he too launched himself at Jimin. The fairy nearly choked on the biscuit, but Hoseok didn't seem to notice.
"Oh, my little flower! I was so worried about you! I thought that maybe- and if it had been my fault I don't know what I would've-"
The witch was now cradling Jimin in his arms like a baby, completely ignoring Taehyung's presence. The inside of Jimin's cheeks were still full of food, and his eyes were wide from surprise. Taehyung just couldn't hold back the urge to laugh, in fact, he laughed so much he ended up rolling off the bench.
"Oh, would you quit it!" Hoseok said to the taller fairy, smoothening out Jimin's pink hair with his hand. "He could've been seriously hurt, and you were just as worried as I was!"
"Yeah, but unlike you, I didn't-" Taehyung choked out in between laughs.
"You kind of did," Jimin chirped, to which Taehyung just rolled his eyes.
