I was not specifically tagged for this, but @unexpectedsong (Idk why it won't let me tag you) left an open tag, and I thought this was way too cool.

1. What would your film be about, briefly?
It would some teen rom-com crap that is also a little cheesy bc that's just how it is. Basically, a boy and a girl rlly like each other, a lot of blushy awkward moments between them, rlly good friendships in there, etc etc.

2. Who would be your dream cast?
I always have have a problem w casting girl love interests.. idk why. But I kinda want her to be at least part Pacific Islander. Idc if she's Hawaiian, Fijian, Micronesian, whatever. I just really feel this.
Gonna be honest here, I need Tom Holland in something where he isn't in danger or ends up dying, ya hear? So he's my main man.
I really want Tom Selleck to be someone's boss or Grandpa or rlly cool neighbor or something. I love that man.
Sophia Lillis as someone, idek. I just rlly love her. She's too young to be my main girl but maybe someone's best friend.

3. What director would you like to work with?
Richard Linklater bc I know that he would make sure we had a killer soundtrack (and he's responsible for my faves School of Rock and Dazed and Confused)

4. What artist would be included in the soundtrack?
Oohh, I've been rlly feeling Greta Van Fleet lately (again). Highly underrated, beautiful band. But like I feel like it should be a bunch of soft rock stuff.

5. What genre of film would you want to make?
Teen/rom-com

6. Would you like to make an independent film or an Hollywood blockbuster?
Hollywood blockbuster bc I don't need pretentious kids feeling superior bc they saw my movie... I just don't want that. That, and I feel like indie movies have a certain feel to them that mine wouldn't convey.

7. If you were to film in any country, which would it be?
US, since that's what I know best. Maybe Hawaii bc they have nice suburbs and I always love movies/shows that take place there

^^ look at those!

8. What sound would play in the opening and closing credits?
I love when a film has parallels between the beginning and the end
Opening: either of the mains humming a song while doing something totally mundane
Closing: both mains singing along to the same song at the top of their lungs

9. You are given the chance to go back and film in any time period. Which period do you choose?
The 90s or early 2000s. My mom spent that time in Hawaii, so I feel like she would have really good insight

10. What would you wear to the premiere?
Probably Goodwill chic, my signature look. Also I pay very little attention to fashion.
Seriously though, something comfortable. I'd be that b that shows up in a dress and sneakers.

11. What costume designer would you like to design your costumes?
Idk. Maybe whoever did the costumes for IT or Stranger Things bc they made sure those kids wore normal clothes that weren't too stereotypical of the time.

12. Which non-actors would you include in your cast and why?
Probably the guys from Greta Van Fleet bc wow. They could literally just be playing music in the background of a scene like in a restaurant, but I want them there.

13. Would you rather win awards or a standing ovation at the Cannes?
While both sound amazing, award-winning film just has a nice sound to it.

14. Would you rather your film get bad reviews but become a cult classic or your film getting getting outstanding reviews but no one really remembers it?
Cult classic, for sure. That's most of the movies I watch anyway. I want to make something people remember.

I would tag people, but I'm not sure of anyone who would do it, so if you feel like it, do it. Thinking about stuff like this is so fun, especially being in a film heavy fandom. M'kay.
