I saw Calpurnia last night in Nashville and I think that was one of the most surreal moments of my life.

Ayla was looking like a whole queen, and she did no less than amazing (but like could she??). She had a smile on pretty much the whole time, which just made me happier to see her play. Unfortunately, all the pics I tried to get of just her are garbage :/

Malcolm was back there doing his thing, and he even pulled out his phone and turned on his light when everyone in the crowd was doing it. What a precious boy.

Jack was so into it, and my stepmom said he was her favorite. He kept moving along to the music and making faces at the people up front. It was rlly great.

And Finn. This kid is so sweet. He actually apologized for being sick back in January when they were supposed to come, like he could help it. He has great stage presence, and I was so ecstatic that my kid (bc I adopt all my favorites) was right there.

They all had so much energy and just looked like they were having a good time, and I was just so excited to be there. It's so crazy seeing people you only ever see on your phone/tv. I mean, they were all right there, like 20-30 feet from me. It doesn't even feel real.

Their opening act, Lunar Vacation, was really really good too!! I felt bad bc I didn't think to listen to any of their music before I went, but they're a fantastic band, and I plan on listening to them more.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I wish I had taken a friend to enjoy it with so I wouldn't have been so awkward, but oh well. Next time. I had a lot of fun, and I may or may not have cried a little when they came out on stage. I honestly kept myself from getting too excited when I got the tickets back in December bc I didn't want to be too disappointed if anything went wrong, which rlly helped in January when it was postponed. The wait was totally worth it tho.

Ps. I would add some pics I took buy they weren't loading, so maybe later.

M'kay.
