Hey! I know I've been actually dead for months, but I did update my ship/headcanon/fancast book the other week, sooo... activity. Also, this will probably be pretty long.
First and foremost to the 3 ppl that read this, I'm not back back. I'm just kinda here when I remember. I deleted the app off my phone months ago, partially because I wasn't writing and I just wasn't really reading on here enough either to justify letting Wattpad staying on my phone and taking up space. (Sidenote: my phone is half garbage, and the storage is testy.) I'll be honest, I haven't missed being on here as much as I wished I did bc writing on here was my absolute life for a really long time, and I met some of my favorite ppl on here, but I do feel absolutely awful bc I never rlly gave a proper "goodbye" to this app. I still had requests that I was giving empty promises to, and I'm rlly sorry for that. I won't be getting to those. I won't say I'll never write on here again, but I have lost any requests I had and am NOT taking any as of the last few months.
Second off, I just noticed I hit 900 followers on here and that is crazy! I started this account in the 7th grade to read 5SOS imagines (my first fanfic was a Luke Hemmings story that was sooo bad), and here I am over 5 years later with 900(!!!) followers and several books that I am super proud of. I think the oldest book I have right now is The Outsiders Imagines book, and even tho it is so obviously written by a middle schooler, I still receive such positive feedback from ppl that are just now reading it or reading it again (still blows my mind). This app has given me so much over the years, and trust me, I don't take it for granted. I built my writing skills (even if they still aren't the best), made wonderful friends, read incredible books, fell in love with new characters, and found new fandoms over and over again. This is so cheesy, but I just rlly can't believe how many ppl looked at my account or read my stuff and thought "yeah, I should follow her." It's wild.
So I start college on Monday, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I don't feel as overwhelmed and stressed about starting. I have my schedule, I ordered most of my books (and have a solid plan for getting the others), I got a job, and I finally got rid of that sick feeling I've had for over a year from anxiety over college. I'm not even kidding. This has only been within the last few hours. I feel pretty good.
My summer was super awesome, but I feel like I've written enough here, so I might do another update on my summer where I'll elaborate more. I graduated on May 16th and then traveled all over. My mom came for my graduation which was awesome , and it was her first time back to the mainland in years, so most of the traveling was to see family. I got a pretty good tan and lost some weight (in a healthy way, mostly from sweating all day, every day for a month).
But yeah. Basically that's all that's new with me. It'd be awesome if you told me something cool in the comments, like your favorite part of your summer or the craziest pop culture thing that's happened in the last 3 months. Anything. M'kay.
