2nd day of school, here I am
I woke up, and got ready for school. A few minutes later, Yukhei comes out of his room, sleepiness still visible from his eyes and movements.
"You should most probably hurry and get ready by now, you only got 15 minutes" was what I said before he ran straight to the bathroom, earning a chuckle from me
After a few minutes waiting for him to get ready, we both walked to classes. Even just by standing infront of the door to the classroom, you can already feel his friends' presence from hearing all their loudass voices.
As soon as we entered, all of Yukhei's friends gathered around us to greet us.
"Good morning, you two!" Jungwoo greeted
"Good morning to you too" I greeted back before going to my seat
"Hey Yuri, did you finish homework?" Mark, who sat at my left said
"Yes, she did and there's no way I'm gonna let you copy it" Yukhei said
"Chill, I was just asking" Mark frowned, cutely.
The teacher came as we stood up to greet him. Then, he asked the class on who was absent. Everyone looked at Taeyong's seat.
Did he not go to school today?
I asked myself before looking at his seat as well, seeing nothing. I sighed as I knew it was somehow my fault. I know so since Yukhei sent me some pictures of him and his friends, Taeyong's seemed cheerful and fine there. But why not when I met him? It's because of my existence.
The class continued as I waited for the bell to ring, indicating it's lunch.
Once it rang I immediately looked at Yukhei.
"Sorry, sis. I have to go somewhere right now, you can go eat with my friends. Just wait for me there, alright?"
"Okay" I answered before walking off to the cafeteria with his friends
As soon as we sat down, it felt awkward. Everyone's head was hanging low as none of them even touched their food. Normally, Yukhei would bring up the mood and tease Taeyong, making the others laugh. But since neither of them were here, it was silent. Well atleast before

"Can yall talk now, you guys are making me feel awkward, I just wanted to eat my cheetos"
Mark said as everyone glanced at him for a second, before eating quietly
After a few minutes, Yukhei arrived
"why are you guys so quiet for?" Yukhei asked
"it's just that we can't seem to figure out why Taeyong won't go to school today"
Jaehyun said as Yukhei stared at me, seeing my head hung low. He knew why I was like that, he knew that I was thinking it was my fault.
"Yuri, don't worry. It's not your fault I promise, okay?"
Yukhei asked reassuringly
"Wait, did you somehow think we felt awkward around you earlier? Because I swear that wasn't supposed to happen"
Sicheng said to me
"It's alright" I smiled at him
The rest of the school hours went well. Yukhei and I walked back to our dorm, quietly.
"Where did you go earlier?"
I asked Yukhei
"Oh right, mom texted me earlier to call her when it was lunch time since she said she was gonna say something. Apparently, they're going to a business trip today to New Zealand" he explained
"Alright" I said
"Do you want to eat in the dorm or do you wanna go out for food?" Yukhei asked
"Let's just eat in the dorm"
I answered
"Okay" he said
The rest of the night went well as we decided to go to sleep.
