"Ei...wake up." Bakugou nudged his boyfriend at eleven that night after getting home from his afternoon shift. The dumbass always slept in the middle of the bed, leaving no room on either side for him.
Kirishima shifted, rolling onto his side with a sleepy groan.
"We need to get a bigger bed." Bakugou sighed.
"No we don't." Kirishima objected. "I want you closer."
"Then sleep closer to me in a bigger bed. I don't want to keep waking you up when I get home."
"But if your don't wake me up, how will I know when you're home?"
Bakugou sighed. "You're so clingy."
"Why wouldn't I be clingy? I have the best boyfriend in the whole world."
"Gross." Bakugo knew by now that Kirishima liked to tease him with sappy shit. He pretended to hate it but he'd be lying if he said he wanted him to stop.
"Come to bed, Katsu."
"Fine." Bakugou slipped into the bed, letting Kirishima latch onto him, nuzzling into his chest.
"You smell nice."
"I just took a shower."
"I didn't hear you."
"That's because you sleep like a rock."
"Mm..."
"You should go back to sleep, though."
"I found out where we can apply as foster parents."
"Already?"
"Yeah. And they're desperate for applicants. I sent them an email."
"Shit..." Bakugou hadn't thought Kirishima would actually go through with it. He thought it was just a joke, just his usual teasing.
"You don't want to do it, do you?" Bakugou could hear the disappointment in his voice. It was so grating. He hated that tone.
"Of course I want to do it, moron." He lifted his arm to rub the redhead's bare back. His skin was so damn soft considering he was a textbook example of masculinity, hard and firm. "I just didn't expect it to go this fast."
"We can slow the process down if you want."
"Nah. Don't worry about it. Did they email you back?"
"No. I sent it after five they were closed."
"Do you have a preference? Like for the age or whatever?"
"I mean...a baby would probably be too much work for us since we both work. Plus, they're expensive."
"So, older?"
"Yeah. But not too old. We're practically teens ourself so we shouldn't be taking in kids over ten for now."
"For now? I thought we were only trying it out?"
"We are. But if it turns out to be really fun and we decide we want to continue..."
Bakugou sighed. He doubted they would continue. He was already prepared for disaster, for some shitty brat who never listened, one that would drive even Kirishima insane.
"Get some sleep, Eijirou. We can talk more in the morning."
"Do you still want to go out to brunch with the squad tomorrow?"
No, he did not.
"Yeah."
"Great. I love you."
"You too. Night."
"Goodnight."
But it wasn't a good night. Bakugou was kept awake with so many worries. Children were a step he didn't think he'd be dealing with for years if at all. Sure, it was only a temporary child, but he still felt like he was throwing his life away.
By the age of twenty one, Katsuki Bakugou had almost reached his endgame.
And he didn't know how to feel about that.Remember how I said this was going to be fluffy? I lied.
