I basically live with Matt now. I'm too much of a scaredy cat to sleep at my place, so I have spent the past few nights with him. I don't mind it, though. He's a good cuddler.

"Hey Matt?" I yelled across his apartment. He was in his bedroom and I was sitting on the couch.

"Yeah?"

"I'm gonna go get some clothes from my apartment. I'll be right back," I said.

He walked out of his room and put his hands on his hips.

"Do you honestly think I would let you go over there by yourself?" He asked.

I shrugged and stood up. I was currently in the same t-shirt I had worn to sleep that night and a pair of Matt's boxers. I was too lazy to go get clothes so that's what he gave me to wear to bed.

"I dunno, I think you should just stay like that all day. I like seeing you in my clothes." He said as he leaned onto the wall. He suddenly got ten times more attractive.

I felt my cheeks heat up, but I tried to play it off cool. He immediately noticed and broke into fits of laughter, clutching his stomach and crouching down.

"Can you please gather yourself so that we can go get me some clothes?" I asked in an annoyed tone. He stood up and walked over to me, soon picking me up bridal style and carrying me out the door.

When we got inside my apartment, it was eerily quiet.

"I hate coming in here now. It's so creepy." I said in a hushed tone. Matt replied with a small nod before we walked to my bedroom.

I grabbed a weeks worth of clothes so that I didn't have to come back in there anytime soon. I also grabbed my toiletries and chargers so that I had everything.

"Are you almost ready?" Matt screamed from the living room. I rolled my eyes and walked out, two bags in hand.

"Geez, are you moving in?" He joked.

I chuckled slightly and walked forward, throwing my bags at him.

"Let's go, this place is giving me the creeps."

We walked out of the apartment, shutting and locking the door behind us. We then walked back over to Matt's apartment and went inside.

I took my bags to his room and laid everything out neatly so nothing got wrinkled and took my toiletries to the bathroom.

"I really feel like I'm invading your privacy by staying here," I told him honestly.

He shook his head. "Nins, listen to me. Even if you didn't want to stay with me, I would make you. You're not invading my space by any means."

I nodded and sat down at the counter. I put my head in my hands and let out a loud sigh.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He said calmly as I felt his hand go to the small of my back.

"I don't know. I'm just stressed. Someone went into my apartment for a reason. They didn't take anything, so that obviously means that they were looking for something and couldn't find it, or were putting something in there. The worst part is that they could have been looking for me." I said, looking at him with weary eyes.

"Well they're gone now, right? Yeah, sure, they got away, but they will be found and they won't be able to bother you or your apartment anymore, okay?" He replied, trying to make me see the brighter side of things. He always tended to do that. No matter what type of mood I was in, he would always try and make me happy. He hated seeing me upset or stressed out.

"Okay. You're right. They will be caught soon and everything will be perfect." I smiled. I leaned in and placed a small kiss on his lips. His eyes sparkled at me when I pulled away. It was as if me kissing him made all of his problems go away.

The crazy part is, the same thing happened to me.
