WE HIT 1K READS!!!!

So this chapter is in honor of it. it's one of my favorites that I've honestly ever written, and the new intro is actually from this chapter so yay ;-)

"Matt, can you please tell me where we are going?"

"No."

"I don't like surprises."

"I don't care."

"I don't like you."

"Yes you do."

I sighed and looked out my window. We had been in the car for about an hour and I was getting antsy.

"We're almost there, just take a chill pill." He laughed. I let out a loud groan and glared at him.

Within the next ten minutes we arrived. Matt had his hands over my eyes but I figured out where we were just by the sounds around me.

When he took his hands off, we were standing at the top of a waterfall.

"Crazy, isn't it?!" He said excitedly.

"This is amazing!" I screamed.

"Go put this on," Matt said with a wink. He handed me one of my bathing suits and pointed to the bathrooms over where we parked.

I quickly changed and ran out, seeing Matt sitting on the ground thinking. This boy looked as if he was contemplating the meaning of life before he saw me.

"Hey cutie, you got a kik?" He yelled at me. I laughed and ran over.

"What's a kik?" I asked slightly confused.

Matt suddenly bursted into laughter. I kept the same look on my face.

"It's not important. Don't worry about it," He smiled.

I frowned as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the water.

When I touched the water, I immediately pulled back. Matt sent me a confused look.

"It's freezing," I whined. He rolled his eyes and grabbed me by my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"It's not even that cold. You're such a baby," He laughed. I smiled and crossed my arms over my chest.

"C'mon, we can jump in together, okay?" He said sweetly. I gave him an unimpressed look.

He let out a loud sigh.

"Suit yourself." He picked me up like a baby and jumped into the water, making me squeal like a little girl.

The cold water rushed against my warm skin. It was almost refreshing somehow.

I resurfaced from the water and gasped for air. I couldn't stop laughing, which was making it difficult to tread water.

"How did you find this place?" I asked Matt who was trying to fix his hair.

"My family used to come here every summer when I was little. It was so much fun."

I nodded and looked around, noticing that we were the only people here.

"How are we the only people here?" I asked, slightly confused.

"Probably because we are insane for swimming when it's seventy-five degrees outside. But we're trying to be crazy, right?" He gave me a goofy grin. I laughed and shook my head, unable to understand how two hours ago I was nice and cozy under a blanket at Matt's apartment.
