"Hot as hell,
Sweeter than honey.
You're not dead,
I'd bet my money.
Love is new,
Don't break down.
Meet with me,
At the edge of town.
Hot as ice,
Cool like fire.
Next time you leave,
Forget your desires."
(A/N: Hey!! So, the chapters based on my poem have all been published!! It's a little bit difficult for me to figure out what I want to write after a two year time jump, so any suggestions for the next chapter would be great!! )
~Waverly POV~
I know, Wynonna says it's safe, but I'm still scared. I faked my death. People aren't going to forget that just cause I ask nicely. We scared a lot of people. They had a funeral. People who didn't even think twice about me or Nicole before everything happened, showed up and cried over our empty caskets. What we did was necessary, but also heartless and cruel. I know it was, Nicole knows it was, and there's absolutely no way that Wynonna isn't mad at us.
It's been a week since we got back to Purgatory, but nobody knows it yet. Wynonna thinks it's best that we stay at the homestead until her and sheriff Nedley figure out what to tell people. They don't want us to be the freaks who faked their own, very gruesome, murder. They decided on the story yesterday, their telling people this morning, and me and Nicole are slowly being introduced back into the population afterwards.

"Waverly!" Aunt Gus has her arms around me so tightly that I actually cannot breath.
"Hey." I pull back and smile sheepishly at her.
She isn't the only one here. Mercedes Gardener is standing in the corner of the room, not sure what to say to me. She didn't bring Tucker or Beth, thankfully. Champ has his hands on his head in disbelief. He talked to me earlier and both me and Nicole were pleasantly shocked. He hugged me, but gently, and actually apologized for everything he had said and done to both of us. He is being so sweet and it's obvious that it's a friendly sweet, not his fake 'I want to get in your pants,' sweet.
C.J., Nedley, and Chrissy are all here. They've known we're alive this whole time, but they need to act like they didn't. The story we came up with is simple. We were attacked, but we escaped. Chrissy was nowhere to be found and we were scared to go home in case the guy found us again. We ran as far as we could and then assumed new identities. Until, Wynonna, found us and told us it was safe.
~two days later~
Highschool. Of course we still need to finish out our senior year. It isn't exactly how I pictured my life at home, but I know it's for the best. So, here we go.

Hey!! Sorry this is so short, I know I need to update and I guess it's better a short chapter than nothing at all. I'm working on a few other stories right now, I would love it if you read them!!
"She Was Never There" is the one I've been working on the most. It's a WayHaught story, but it's pretty dark. I'm really proud of it so far so if you could read it and comment and stuff, that would make me very happy!!
I'm also working on a crossover story where Wynonna Earp and Felicity Smoak are best friends!! I'll let y'all know when I post the first part of that!! It's going to be a lot different from my other books cause I want to make it funny instead of serious all the time.
That's all for now!!
I love you, you beautiful assholes!!
~ Jordan
(Btw, I call everyone assholes, and bitches, and dickheads, and dumbass, that's just how I talk to my friends!! It's not meant in a bad way, I swear!)
