it was a strong feeling
and it stayed a strong feeling
nothing more
had the moments slowed down i would have told him what i had been meaning to say, but fifty days weren't enough days and the moments kept on running.
sanha had wanted to take me out for dinner for a few days but he happened to be busy and so had i, we didn't see each other for four days until today.
he had just gotten out of taxi and i waited outside the restaurant he told me to
meet him at. the boy quickly made his way to me and hugged me."Hey Sanha!"
"Hey babe!"
i giggled at the new nickname as i pulled away from the hug and tip toed up to kiss him. he grabbed onto my face and deepened the kiss, smiling into it as i tried my best not to giggle. once we separated, he embraced me again.
"God I missed you."
"Come on Sanha, I haven't eaten and I'm hungry!"
he quickly guided us inside the restaurant, a waiter taking us to our table. i looked up at his hair and smiled.
"Noticed you've dyed your hair."
sanha smiled, grabbing onto some of his now pink locks.
"Like it? I thought, 'Hey I'm super cute, might as well add onto it.' So I did!"
"You really are something."
"I'm cute! That's what I am!"
the waiter came and took our orders. i stared at him as he ordered his hamburger and fries. frowning, i noticed the wrist cast underneath his coat. the waiter bowed and left, i quickly grab onto his hand, carefully lifting his coat.
"What happened?"
he chuckled nervously as he pulled back.
"Remember when I texted you that I had an accident while working? Well... this was the accident. I sprained my wrist."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
he pouted, trying to make the frown on my face go away.
"I didn't want to worry you."
"That's what a girlfriend is for. To worry and care for you. You should have told me instead of telling me it wasn't a big deal."
he looked down at the table, his pout becoming more real than his fake pout intending to persuade me.
"Sorry, I don't like to worry people for me."
i sighed before smiling and taking his hand again. he looked up and kept pouting.
"I want to worry about you. I want to know what happens when you get hurt, okay? How did that even happen?"
he chuckled.
"Funny story, uh... i was passing the broom and it just happened."
i frowned as i looked down at his wrist.
"That easily?"
"I have weak wrists, doc said. Hah! How weak do I gotta be to even have weak wrists?"
i smiled and leaned over the table, kissing his lips before kissing his forehead. i remember that dopey smile that grew over his face that had those words forming in my head but too scared to even travel to my mouth again.
"You aren't weak. You are the strongest person I know."
the night continued on as he played with his fries. but at a moment in the night, he tried to start some sort of food fight even as i hesitated, and eventually got us kicked out. i didn't want to sugarcoat it, but that sort of ticked me off.
"That was reckless! What the heck were you thinking throwing tomatoes at the other tables?"
he shrugged as he laughed, ordering up a taxi on his phone.
"I don't know man! Usually I'm too scared to do anything in public. Pure impulse!"
"Pure impulse my ass."
he snapped up and looked at me, realizing that i was angry, not laughing up his joke as much as he was.
"I-I'm sorry I just..."
"Just what? Your pranks and jokes are funny but that was crossing the line Sanha. That isn't you."
his eyes began shaking as he didn't know what to look at. i remember the panic that arose on his face. i had never seen anything more than a bit of sadness and tiredness on his face and it scared me as he began breathing weirdly.
"Sanha..? Hey, it's okay I—"
he shook his head and quickly put his phone away, reaching for my hands.
"M-My pills. I forgot."
"Your anxiety pills?"
he nodded and quickly gulped down, gasping for air. he looked at me and god it scared me more than anything to see his eyes water in pure panic. he was starting to have an anxiety attack.
"W-What do I do? I h-have never dealt w-with anxiety attacks before."
sanha pointed over at a bench and i quickly sat us down. he grabbed one of my hands and placed it at the right of his chest, making me add pressure. at this point, his breathing was out of control, he would be hyperventilating any second now.
i quickly put my other hand on his face and tried my best to smile.
"Baby it's okay. There are other better restaurants we can dine in. You're fine."
but instead of calming down he shook his head and began hyperventilating, tears starting to roll down his cheeks. i could feel myself panic as well, not knowing what to do.
and it felt like eternity as he begged me with his eyes to help.
