but it wasn't an unreal feeling

it didn't stay an unreal feeling

it was more than that

it was weird to arrive to work to a boy, who was now my boyfriend. twenty one days had passed yet i felt so close to the brunet in winter clothes.

i had just gotten to work when slender, pale hands were wrapped around my shoulders and chest. i quickly turned and smiled.

"Sanha, you're here earlier than I expected."

"I wasn't sure when you started working, so I got here half an hour ago."

i chuckled, putting my coat on a hanger before walking towards the counter, placing my belongings underneath it, noticing that my coworker was running late as his belongings were missing.

"You could have texted me."

"Oh yeah... I could have... done that."

he let his shoulders fall and he approached the flower catalogs, grabbing a white one and opening it.

"Planning a wedding?"

i giggled as he coughed and placed the catalog back down, grabbing a blue one. he read over it, well knowing it was for funeral arrangements, and opening it.

"So customers come in and point at a picture and say 'I would like this for my dead husband' and you do it for them?"

i put on my apron and walked over to his side, looking past his arm since he was too tall to look over the shoulder.

"Each has a letter and number. Basically you say, 'I'd like blue catalog's A6' and we arrange it."

he began flipping pages, frowning. i placed my hand on his, looking up at him as he stared down at me.

there was moment in which his eyes weren't his, and mine weren't my own. we both shared such a hard stare, we weren't able to let go of ourselves because we were one with our touch.

it was odd, a feeling emerged from his hand onto mine. fear. the catalog almost fell as he grabbed onto my hand and...

wait, fear?

he grabbed my hand, chuckling as he pointed at the catalog again.

"What if someone wanted to... merge two different styles?"

i cleared my throat and looked at the catalog.

"Well you'd just say so. It can be made. I've merged styles from different catalogs for different things. I had a girl want two styles, one from funeral flowers... for her wedding."

"Which one is your favorite wedding one?"

"Heh, white catalog's C7."

he smiled and put down the catalog, turning towards me and nodding his head towards the counter.

"Customer."

i turned and groaned slightly. he just got here. well, i just got here. i started to walk towards the counter to quickly attend the customer.

"Would you like to go on a date this week?"

he must have noticed the look of surprise on my face as i snapped back and looked at him.

"Uh..."

i turned to the customer, who held in his laugh, then back at sanha, who had as much laughing to contain. i straightened my posture and smirked.

"My apartment alright?"

sanha's eyes widened, coughing up his courage. the customer behind us couldn't contain it and laughed out loud.

the boy cleared his throat.

"I prefer my house."
