Drowned

While we're heading to the Sawyer's house, my brain were still lingering around to the thought of what Alec's reaction. Did I offend him? Pakiramdam ko, sobra-sobra ang kasalanan na nagawa ko sa kanya and I'm feeling it's all wrong. He's looking the other way while I'm on the opposite of it. My friends didn't bother to say anything and they know how screw I am now.

Riding with Gell's car with my friends, tahimik lamang ako habang hindi nagtitigil sa kakadaldal si Pee shooter. Just looking at the window, thinking how will face him again. He doesn't need to hear those words—but being truthful to what I feel... gano'n na nga talaga. Korg is Korg. And Alec is way different over him.

"Alex! Alex!" napaigtad naman ako ng paulit-ulit na tawagin ni Bella ang pangalan ko, kung hindi pa niya ako tatapikin hindi rin babalik ang ulirat ko sa kanila. Nilingon ko naman sila, naka-kunot ang noo, walang idea sa pinag-uusapan nila. "May tinatanong kasi si Gell sa'yo."

Hinagip ko naman ang tingin ni Gell sa rearview mirror. She drives her own car obviously. "Yes, Gell, sorry for not listening... I was really preoccupied."

She let out a chuckles, "I know that." She continued, and and her eyes goes back to the road. "You don't need to explain yourself, Alex... I know it's too hard for you." Napangiwi na lamang ako sa sinabi niya, I'm still feeling okay. "Whatever, my parents were looking forward if we could join us one time in a dinner?"

I was a little bit surprise by her invitation, and paused for seconds to process her words. "Ako talaga, Gell? I'm not that very important person para makisali sa dinner niyo at isa pa, nakakahiya."

She raised her brow, "anong nakakahiya?" aniya, "there's nothing to be shy about our family, duh, hindi naman kami sobrang sophiscated katulad ng iba—but in some other ways, we still have those traits but you're now a friend, 'wag kang kabahan..."

"I'll think of it." Kagat labi ko pa. I was still thinking about Korg.

"Don't think of it. Korg have himself at your dinner, papaglapasin mo pa ba ang chance na ito?"

"Okay, okay... I'll go... but I have to talk with Korg first."

She nodded, "that's your agenda, so go." Aniya.

I let out a deep sighed and goes back viewing the blurry bypassing sight on the window. Hindi naman dapat masyadong iniisip ang ganitong bagay. You don't have to make it a big deal. But it will became one kapag may natamaan ka nang tao and I'm so anxious how will these how two person look at me the same way again.

Too much drama, it doesn't have to be like that, and I don't think it's nice.

When we reach the Sawyer's house. Pansin kaagad namin ang mga sasakyang naka-parking both sides of the road. Nalula rin naman ako sa sobrang laki ng bahay nila—it is like a mansion—hindi, literal talaga. Gell stopped the engine, hindi pa makapasok ang sasakyan niya dahil nakaharang ang ibang kotse. Pinanood ko naman silang bumaba habang ako ay tinatanaw ko lang sa loob ang Sawyer's house.

"Ada!" Pee shooter leave me shocked, shouting my name. Sinilip naman niya ako mula sa labas, nakabusangot ang mukha nito. "What are you doing? Get your ass out there, sobrang saya ng party oh! We should celebrate!"

"I don't think I need to party." Mahinang sagot ko dahilan para mas lalo siyang maasar.

Pumasok muli siya sa loob at kinuha ang kamay ko saka ako pinaghihila.
