SEVENTEEN

Moms still in hospital, we just got into her room, Michaels here. Dads here. I haven't let go of Jacobs hand since we got into the room. 

We have no idea if she's gonna be okay. No idea if the baby's gonna be okay.

The only person that knows about this is syd, and she's with Devin in Miami.
(A/n, Ik syd and Devin broke up but it's for the purpose of the story only)

I keep getting messages of Zach. I'm ignoring him big time. I don't care about him right now. I just want mom and the baby to be okay.

"She's gonna be fine love" Rests his hand on my shoulder

"You don't know that" I look at how hopeless her body looks

The room was awake at silence with me whimpering every now and then.

Then a doctor walks in

"Miss Cantley will be okay, however, the baby is having some difficulties" he says

"What difficulties" Michael asks, nervously, he stands there cracking his knuckles one by one

"The baby will have difficulties anyways but -"

"What difficulties" Michael repeats

"Brain development..." He replies, quietly

"Will it live" they both don't know the gender of the baby, Jacobs gonna announce it.

"There's a high chance. Yes" the doctor nods

The room filled with a bunch of sighs from relief.

"Mrs cantley will wake soon, don't rush her" and with that, he leaves.

"Your phones spamming" dad picks my phone up "who's Zach"

"Friend" I don't care. I only care about mom and the baby

"He must be a pretty close friend is he's saying he loves you and that he's sorry" he puts my phone down

I turn to look at Jacob and he could tell the amount of pain I am in, just by looking in my eyes.

"How's Jack" dad makes conversation, trying to not make the awkward silence awkward.

"Good" I turn my head to look at mom, just laying there so peacefully.

"How's his band getting on" He asks

"Good" I don't wanna talk to anyone.

"Okay skylar, what's wrong" He stands infront of my view of mom

"Nothing" I wipe my eyes

"C'mon sky, lets go for a walk" Jacob grabs my phone and my hand and practically pulls me out the hospital room.

"Stop worrying about mom, she's fine. Stop worrying about what's gonna happen with Zach and Jack. Everything will be fine." He says in a soft voice

"I'm not worrying about them. I don't care what they're doing right now" that's the truth. I don't.

"Then what is up with you" he sighs loudly
