FOURTY - SEVEN

When I woke up, Jack wasn't beside me but I could hear him on the phone to someone.

"Baby" I clear my throat

"Yes darling" he slides his phone into his pocket, walking out the bathroom

"Nothing" I sit up

"That was Corbyn, Christina came over for a holiday and they got into this big argument because he thinks she's cheating on him, she walked out and now he's worried because he doesn't know where she is" he says in one breath "and I wasn't supposed to tell you that so don't repeat it to anyone"

"I'll find her" I get out of bed. I take a quick shower and get changed into an oversized tee with shorts underneath.

"How can you wear the most plain clothes but look prettier then any girl I've ever layed my eyes on" Jack comes up behind me, placing a kiss on my cheek.

I smile and moisturize my face before heading downstairs to where Josiah was crashed out on the sofa with Anna ontop of him. Marcus and Lillie laying across the floor and Luna running around barking

"Luna" I call her over. I put some food into her tray and grab a breakfast bar, taking a seat on the kitchen counter.

{sky} Christina Marie Harris. 1- mad that you didn't tell me you're in LA. 2- why didn't you just ask to stay at mine and 3- where are you?

She replies almost immediately

{Christina} I'm gonna be 100% honest. I don't know where I am, all I know is that it's 10am in LA but where I am is dark and cold and don't look like 10am. And I'm kinda scared

"You know where she is?" jack asks, standing between my legs

"Yup and I'm gonna go pick her up" I jump down

"Be safe" he grabs my wrist, pulling me back into his chest "and call me if anything happens"

I smile and peck his lips before grabbing my car keys. I copy the address Christina sent me into google maps and start following it.

She was in a small neighbourhood that had about 10 dark houses in it.

I grab my purse and obviously safety first, make sure my pepper sprays working.

I get my phone and lock my car I walk down into the estate to like 4 houses in and then the gps stopped.

The pathway leading towards the house was long and dirty, full of weeds and overgrown bushes.

No bell, so I knock on the door. No answer. So I knock on it again.

"Hey, can I help you" I hear a husky masculine voice from behind me. English. He had an English accent

I turn around and see a man. With hair to his shoulders, muscular arms, a beard and the most prettiest green eyes I've ever seen.

"Yeah, I'm, hey, sorry. Im just looking for my friend" I keep my hand in the bag, on the pepper spray.

"may I escort you back to your car?" He noticed my hand

I don't say anything but look at my phone.
