SIXTY-SIX

Zach's POV

We're on the way to the hospital, She was thinking and she made her decision. I'm fine with it as long as she is.

Her head was resting on the window, maybe she's rethinking her decision. who knows what goes on inside her head.

"Babe" I put my eyes on her for a second.

"Hm" She sits up straight.

"Everything will be okay" I pull into the hospital parking lot.

We sign in and wait in the waiting area, I could see a young girl taking a picture of us. Sky's hand was in mine and her head was on my shoulder.

"Skylar Fitzgerald" The nurse shouts

"I'll wait here baby" I let go off her hand as she stands up. I was too nervous.

"I want you to be with me" She pulls me up. We walk into the room and skylar sits on the bed.

"You holding up okay" The nurse asks

"Fine" She takes her sweater off.

It was around 9pm, a week from when she told me.

"You much be Zach" The nurse looks at me

I nod and she makes Sky sign something.

"Baby are you rethinking" She seems so distracted and i don't like seeing her like that.

"No... I'm just scared" She replies.

The nurse walks back in, Skylar takes a couple tablets and was given a shot in her arm.

She was handed a couple leaflets and numbers to support groups and then we're on our way home.

She told me everything that happened and i understand why she didn't wanna tell me the day she found out.

We drive home silently and she gets out the car.

She walks in and sits on the couch "I'm gonna be a mom in 8 months" She puts her hand on her stomach.

"And i'm gonna be a dad" I sit with her

"You ready to meet my mom tomorrow" I ask her.

She nods her head "I love you Zach" She pushes herself on my lap.

"I love you too baby, now what am i gonna expect in the next 9 months" I wrap my arms around her.

"Mood swings, a lot of them. Weird cravings, My body being really sore, and lots and lots of doctors appointment" She kisses my jaw.

"I can't tell whether you're happy or sad, We're gonna get through this together though, okay" I smile "I'm really happy" She nods her head

we go upstairs to her room. She owns this house now and asked me when the baby is born if i'd like to move in with her, of course i would.

"She said i'll also be tired a lot and want to sleep, which is what i wanna do know" She slumps onto her bed.

"Brush your teeth, Do your skincare thing and maybe i'll let you sleep" I pull her up and kiss her chin.

She laughs and we go into the bathroom and start brushing our teeth.

She lays back onto the bed and i get in beside her "I live here with 5 bedrooms, a kitchen, an office, a living room" She sighs "Alone"

"Soon you'll have 2 people to share this house with" I put my hand on her stomach and slide my tongue into her mouth to kiss her. She kisses me back but pulls away. "I'm tired"
