SIXTY-FOUR

Zach's POV.

Sky said she'd meet me at her house at 10. It's now 11:30 and she still isn't here. I don't know whether it's because she's at the hospital still or she's rejecting me but i thought we were going well.

I see an Uber stop just at the gate and hope it's her, I got her roses, chocolates and a gift. A little teddy bear.

A female figure starts walking up and Sky comes into the view.

"Thank god" I drop everything and run up to her.

I hear her sniff once her arms wrap around my body. She sounds like she's been crying.

"Hey, Hey are you okay" I pull away. I couldn't see her eyes because of how dark it was outside.

She isn't okay.

She grabs my hand while we walk towards her house. She grabs her keys and walks in.

Her eyes were bloodshot from crying too much and her nose was puffy and red

"What's wrong" I cup her face, Her hand still attached to mine.

"Nothing" She sniffs

"Sky" I look into her eyes.

"Aspen had to go home and uhm.. just felt really uncomfortable walking back from the hospital, was a guy following me and everything" She smiles slightly.

"You could've just called me" I take a step closer to her, Wiping her tears strolling down her cheek with my thumb.

"My phone died" She choked on her words a little.

"Are you sure that's all" I rub my thumb across her fingers.

"Yeah" She rubs her lips together.

"They thought i had a cyst in my ovary but they were wrong" She sits on the couch. Her hand still in mine, Gripping onto it tightly.

"Love, you can tell me anything. okay." I just want to be there for her.

"They did a couple tests and i... I'm fine they said i should get some rest and take a couple tablets everyday and i'll be fine by the weeks over" She wipes her eyes with her free hand.

"I have food poisoning again and that will. continue for a couple weeks" She's lying. She always licks her lips when she lies and she's licked her lips more than 10 times this conversation.

I respect if she doesn't want to tell me what's wrong though, That's totally her decision. I just wish she didn't have to feel that way.

"You can totally tell i'm lying" She giggles a little.

"You don't have to tell me the truth" I lift her chin up to look at me.

"I don't have a cyst but i do have food poisoning and i took an allergic reaction to something I've eaten so that explains the whole throwing up business, And i'll feel fatigue due to my anaesthetics i'm on" I believed her this time she told me everything.

"The real reason you're crying" I raise an eyebrow to confirm i also know she isn't completely telling the truth.

"I think it's hormones" She smiles.

She shuffles a little closer to me, Resting her head on my shoulder. Bless her, She was shivering

"Come on" I stand up. She stands up, Wrapping her arms around my body and not letting go.

"Can you stay with me" She practically drags me down onto the bed

"Are you sure that's everything sky" I intertwine our hands
